Interesting facts: - Took me 3 days to cut off the templates - At the explosion scene, almost everything gone wrong (The death star caught fire after the first little firecracker exploded. It ignited the second little firecracker and all of the cameras were turned OFFFFFFF. LOL. When the entire built caught fire i decided to pour it with water for safety reasons. So the cardboard become WET and it fell apart BEFORE if was exploded and BEFORE i had any great recordings. So i used duct tape to reassemble it and with editing i tried to do my best to make a cool scene. - i hope you still like it. Love you All - I could not make this video without Raphaels help. He is working in the moovie industry and i think he build the craziest cardboard creations on youtube. Check out his channel and be amazed: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NlgAT0pUoNQ.html - Please wish me good luck to reach the 1m subs :)
Thank you for crediting my work again!! You've made an awesome job with this, and as I know how much time consuming making the details is, like drawing the patterns and making the decks....... Lol my god, it's all the more difficult to watch you destroying it! 😅
@@Jules-77 Actually they are not problems, It's just that some steps of this build are quite time consuming, more than you can expect at first glance! Haha... I had the same "revelation" when I made the one that inspired him for this video!
Dude, for the 16+days of efforts you'd put in to craft such a masterpiece, the end was quite unceremonious. Could've done it at dusk with some better pyro in slo-mo. Absolutely wonderful crafting though 👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Oh no wait I know were the real Death Star is it’s a moon circling Jupiter? Wait if looks like a moon but it’s a planet destroyer does that make Jupiter or whatever planet it was Alderaan or made from Alderaan
@@punchline43 they didn't destroy any filming minitures of any kind at all, the explosions were CG added in 1997 and 2004 but the original explosions were where they took footage of a miniture and then did a controlled explosion that was filmed somewhere else and would not have put a dent into the minatures at all
Stunning! A Masterpiece of art destroyed in 2 seconds. Every time I'm surfing youtube and I run into your video, there's a powerful atracting beam that forces me into your video; that good is your work. Congrats and thanks.
Now that is a better explosion than in Return of the jedi. At least you can see that it's actually blowing up rather than just putting a computer generated fire ball explosion on top of the model. Well done
Forget blowing it up with firecrackers.... you could make good money making and selling those Death Stars! Your work was amazing on that thing . Very impressive
