1 Box (2pack) of Nilla Wafers
1-2 bunches of bananas
2 boxes of Jello banana cream cook n serve
Pure Vanilla or Banana extract
Milk
Butter

Finally! I'm tired of eating this banana pudding down here in Florida, either never has enough wafers, or Bananas, or both. Even the Patti Labelle one I thought would be it, but was disappointed. You make it how my mother used to, the best way.

I tried that Patti LaBelle pudding. We both took one bite and said nah (there were literally only nine wafers in the whole pudding), ended up going back to the store for more wafers and Cool whip just to make it edible

i was beginning to think i was a very strange person because i always wear gloves when i assembled my easiest banana pudding recipe, but now i don't and thank you for making feel i am not alone the recipe is almost similar to yours, i use the instant pudding mix and add kool whip & sour cream, mine might be easier but maybe not better

You can also just use the blender than put the pudding in the refrigerator for 25 minutes until it’s thick and use cool whip That’s too must stirring.

I love making banana pudding and banana pudding cheesecakes! I am a small business owner of cheesecakes and I also love using the banana flavoring! It give the pudding a taste out of this world! And when the weather was so hot; I never used bananas. I hate the fact; of them turning brown as soon as the air hits them . I truly refuse to use lemon juice; to keep them from browning.

I live alone, and am already doing the division... the first banana puddings I ever had were all the hot method, chilled. I think alot of the instant method but it is not the same as the hot method! Thank you for your tutorial!

how long do you mix it for I admit I forgot the butter but I mix until the milk was hot in the pudding dissolved let it set for overnight Anna pudding never set the milk was still running what did I do wrong besides not adding the butter

You have to cook the pudding til it comes to a boil and it will be thick and ready to pour over the cookies and banana!!!!🥰🤩

The pudding was the first thing to be made and set aside in the fridge for 25 minutes for it to be thick enough to lay on top of the vanilla wafers and then adding cool whip on top to even it out layer by layer this is not the way for it to be done but i guess it is a first time for everything.

After making this for decades, I use the microwave method for the pudding, still tedious because once warm, you have to check and stir every 2 minutes, BUT never burned. I like the way you stacked all of the cookies and bananas first! I usually layer like lasagna 😅. This is MUCH easier once the pudding is completed.

I make it the same way but I make my pudding first and put it in the fridge. And I like it better with vanilla pudding, the banana pudding is too sweet for me.
