In my recent speedpaints you all have been asking me my methods in the Animal Jam ART STUDIO - mostly centered around achieving a fur-like texture in your own art. In this video my friend Artymis (goo.gl/rJ3Wvc) and I tackle that subject in depth, complete with some SNAZZY animal examples.
Now back to the part you're interested in! i don't know if anyone's said this already but *DO NOT SHADE WITH PURE BLACK.* for example draw a polar bear with a BLACK base coat before doing the fur. then do it with green, blue, or purple, just in a very dark shade. which looks better, more realistic? the color one!! you can google shading with black for more info. x3 please like this so others see and improve!!!

I can't :( my job was both digital artist and irl artist and I was trying to become a RU-vidr as well but I just moved and I have barely any signal so it's laggy DX I might have to quit RU-vid because of the lag since it makes me unable to upload videos.... I already had to quit making digital art, I can only make art irl now :( like the clay i gave out at Jam Con or when I paint my hands, walls, canvas or sketch.... I can no longer do digital art because of the lag
