Huh. This was interesting. I'm pretty fast with masking, but I can see why it might be nice to do this option. You make it look amazing. I can't see the stick at all. Thumbs up! Frutz wuz here.
Frutz LovesLegos thank you very much!!! I’d like to GET faster with masking lol. There are instances where masking is a better technique to use, but yes you’re right - what I show is a fast way of getting it done.
Wow really clever. I like stop motion, but I didn’t know how to do this. Then one day this video came into my recommended and I watched it. You, sir are a genius!
This method is exactly what I'm thinking I'll do for my next project. I've put blue tacks and aluminium wire into my wishlist for some time now. I'm glad to see that the method can really works. Thank you for the video.
Love this advice! I've been considering doing stop motion with my Legos and have been looking for tricks that don't need editing all the time. I am definitely subscribing to check out more tips!
Huh. I used to dabble in stop motion on my own time using a Nintendo 3DS, which had actual stop motion animation features in its camera app. While I wasn't making brickfilms with it, I think I can make use of this and other techniques to work with stop motion in general, LEGO animation or otherwise.
Super cool, thank you! We use iMovie, which I doesn't allow masking, so this is very helpful. Looking forward to testing it in one of our forthcoming movies. Have subscribed!
Thanks for this. I usually mask with StopMotion Studio Pro, but this is a great idea for doing something quick. And yes, that Instant Tacky is da bombz!
Thank you for watching! Yes I use Stop Motion Studio as well for some masking... what a great app!! This method here in my video is a very quick way of doing it... I totally agree with you that there are times when masking is necessary. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Another thing you could do is take pictures of the object placed on a pillar or something and then take a picture of the background as a separate thing and then erase the pillar and then you’re left with a floating object 😁
This is interesting, I never thought of that. I thought you would use the tack differently... And I like how the dinamite is a phone 📱😂 Definitely try this 👍
Thank you. I figured this was how it was done but I wanted to confirm it before I tried it. Plus I feel this would be easier than editing out the thing keeping it up.
