This video shows how to make this beautiful hot pink Plumeria and yellow carnation flower ribbon lei. You can make this beautiful flower ribbon lei for bridal shower, wedding, graduation, birthday or special events. I was inspired by instagram posting by @walea_ribbonlei. I think the colors are so stunning. I hope this video can be helpful. Easy tutorial and show you step by step.
The materials for 34” lei are
8 yards 7/8” hot pink single faced satin
7 yards 7/8" hot pink sheer iridescent ribbon
6 yards 7/8” yellow double faced satin
6 yards 7/8” light green satin
6 yards 7/8” forest green satin
7 yards 3/16” green ombre
28 small clear beads

I'm looking at this to get a clearer idea of what the carnation looks like. This is so beautiful. I'm getting greedy...I want to make all of yours. 😊 I was thinking, make the yellow carnations white and it would be a beautiful Christmas lei. Same here, when I enjoy doing something, I also keep watching and keep looking to get some ideas. I love sharing what I make, even though sometimes it's messy. I just took a picture from different angel to it's covered 😅.

What length of needle are you using? Looks shorter than a 5”? Thread is an upholstery weight? I’m a ‘newby’ just learning to make ribbon fabric leis. Mahalo.
