@@gemmyjam yes exactly!! Cause thin lips are gorgeous! I’ve never looked at someone with thin lips thinking “those lips are thin and ugly” but I do this with myself. It’s just not right and we can’t let todays beauty standards change the way we look at ourselves! We’re all gorgeous just the way we are! Also I and I see you as well, have just very tiny features in general, so thin lips are made for us! They’re supposed to be how they are :) but I must admit, that’s a gorgeous ‘lip-look’ you put on in this video!

I’m SO glad I found this video and read the comments! It’s validating to know there actually is other people in the exact same boat as me when it comes to having thin lips. Reading other people sharing similar feelings and saying the same things about their lips that I’ve felt and said about my own lips really does make me feel less alone. Like I’ve never felt more understood and validated specifically in my insecurities and struggles with my thin a$$ lips than I do right now. As someone with thin lips myself, it’s incredibly disheartening when I really want to wear lipstick but can’t even buy it because I just know it’ll be barely noticeable and I don’t want to be made fun of or anything for trying to wear it 😞 I love everything about myself but always hated my lips, my bottom lip is ok but my top lip is almost nonexistent. I hate it so much. I came across this video after searching on Google how I could use makeup to make my lips a bit fuller and my immediate thoughts were “FINALLY SOMETHING FOR THIN LIPPY PPL LIKE ME!!” So THANK YOU gemmyjam for make this tutorial and thank you Olypav for your extremely relatable comments. Before finding your video, I only ever found lip tutorials done by people who are blessed with a beautiful set of lips and didn’t even need the lip makeup and it immediately made me feel crappy about myself every time 🥴 I did try your lip makeup tips out yesterday btw and it worked like a charm! Like girllll, I actually had LIPS to go along with my eye makeup for once~ I saw my cousin yesterday and she was like “Oooo look at you!” And I said “Omg I know!! Your girl actually has lips now!! I’d say to go for a darker, cool toned colour for your liner (if you wanted a blue lipstick then use a navy coloured liner for example), dab on the lipstick you want to use and build the colour and then use a lighter colour (like a sky blue) for the centre of your lips. You could also just use the brown toned liner first and cover it with your colourful lipstick but that may take a little more blending! Hope it works out for you 🤞🏻

That’s not because you have thin lips it’s the lipstick not that good. Even big lips gotta reapply with those types of lipsticks

I usually go in a straight line from the tip of my cupids bow down to the corner, but try to stay as close to my natural lip line as possible. And keep my mouth relaxed and shut so I can see the new shape I’m drawing, I hope that helps a bit! A lot is trial and error for your own lip shape and what you feel most comfortable in ☺️
