It's a lot more simple in Bedrock Edition Just fill a Cauldron with a potion and turn a stack of regular arrows into tipped arrows Harming II Arrows are very deadly especially with a crossbow that has the piercing enchantment, shields won't be able to block that Do this with Healing II arrows you can heal your friends, if they're missing health, if their health is full the arrow will do damage
needing to get dragons breath almost gives these arrows no use since its so late game the difference will not mean much anymore when you already got endgame gear.
If you play on bedrock, you can put THREE potions into a cauldron and then hold out a stack of arrows in your hand then press L2 or ZL or LT, this is a way easier way that doesn’t need dragons breath, DO NOT USE DRAGONS BREATH OR GUNPOWDER ON THE POTIONS. IT ALSO HAS TO BE THREE POTIONS OF THE SAME KIND! Note: This only works on Bedrock so Java players will have to do it the lingering potion way.
Also if you use harming 2 tipped arrows with a multishot crossbow, you can one shot full prot 4 netherite with a totem in their hand if you are close to them and if all of the arrows hit them
Solid videos, very informative. I especially appreciate your style of explaining all the mechanics/features behind the point of the video, you did this in the netherite mining tutorial as well and the extra information/context can be helpful
2023 and it is still a drag to make tipped arrows, its best to just get a bunch of villagers with the most useful types of tipped arrows and get an stack with a couple of emeralds.
Are arrows of harming still busted? I remember for a while they didn’t actually do their extra damage because the s caused by the primary arrow damage prevented the harm effect damage from applying. EDIT: looked it up . . . apparently they’ve always been working as intended, where the most damage you can do is hard capped at 12 (6❤️). Bows with high power enchantments seem to just cancel the effect out.
Isn't is crazy that crafting in crafting table it gives you 8 tipped arrows per potion bottle.. yet if you fill Calderon with 3 potions it will fill it up then you can dip 64 arrows in the Calderon and get all 64 tipped and the other was you would only get 24 tipped.. or atleast in PE it's this way. This is why I thought tipped arrows might have less duration maybe?? Again I'm super new to minecraft but I really love it and appreciate all your indept videos please continue the great work @EyeCraftMc
I'm loving your videos! There are so many useful and interesting items in this game but they are so hard to get or very inaccessible that it kind of makes no sense to even get them... I love the tipped arrows and it would make the game so much more exiting and diverse but it's almost impossible to have a steady supply of those arrows and the work that you'd have to put in is not worth the end result in my opinion. The dragon's breath is the only thing I would change to having something more accessible. 😁Thanks for the great video again!
Dragons breath is definitely difficult to get, what I do to get the constant supply of tipped arrows is go to the end with as many bottles as I can carry and fill up 15-20 stacks of them with the breath then defeat the dragon. You could also do this with shulker boxes and respawn the dragon with end crystals.
Loved the video @EyecraftMC! Can't wait for the next video man! So you need a Lingering Potion of whatever Effect you want in order to craft up a couple of Tipped Arrows of that Effect. Well, in order to have a Decent Supply of Dragon's Breath, I think a Couple of Shulker Boxes are going to be in Order. 28 should do the Trick as you can Fill up 27 of the Shulker Boxes with the Dragon's Breath and put them all in the Remaining Shulker Box. This will get you about 730 Bottles of Dragon's Breath (729 to be exact) which in turn will get you about 5,800 Tipped Arrows (5,832 to be exact) for you to use. The Main Limiting Factor is the Amount of Times you can kill the Ender Dragon, that being 20 Times. Once the Ender Dragon has been killed for the 20th Time, you won't be able to craft up any Lingering Potions and in turn you won't have any more Tipped Arrows to use. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
Hello my bro. You could perhaps do a guide that’s more in depth and that explains all the details surrounding each arrow type. I feel this one would make a nice remake. You’re the man. Have a great one cheers
Tipped arrows came out quite a few updates ago. Problem is it’s a pain to get the dragons breath and you only have so much inventory space. Not to mention the arrows don’t stack. I love the idea of different arrows I just wish there was an easier way to get different arrows without fighting the dragon. There was a arrow mod I use to have and it let you make explosive arrows etc with gun powder replacing the flint in the arrow recipe. It was a great mod!
Not sure what version your playing on but Tipped arrows do stack to 64 in Java, What I do to avoid the problem with dragons breath rarity is to bring about 50 stacks of glass bottles to the end, resummon the dragon with end crystals and take about 2 hours to fill them all up, then I never have to worry about running out again.
@@Eyecraftmc That’s actually genius the whole glass idea never thought about that. I’m just wrong about them not stacking and just saying random bull crap without looking at the wiki.
Arrows have a shorter duration, so potions are more effective. With 8 arrows you get 8 total minutes of efgects and with 1 potion you get 8 minutes aswell.
Very well said i think like this also but tipped arrows remember can be tipped inside Calderons excuse my spelling but you can fill Calderon with 3 bottles and get 64 tipped arrows by dipping in Calderon @@flibi1
The tipped arrows really don't make much sense, and feels like one of the most half-assed features introduced so far. The fact that you only get access to them after you've defeated what's essentially the final boss of Minecraft really invalidates them. Intuitively, you'd figure tipped arrows would be created by simply tipping arrows with a regular potion; not having to go to the very end to acquire the Ender dragon's breath.
If you're a Java player Bedrock Players can fill a Cauldron with a potion and turn a stack of regular arrows into tipped arrows, so we don't need to go into the end and get dragon's breath just to make 8 tipped arrows, Tipped arrows are very fun to use, great for pvp Healing 2 arrows are great to heal players when you're all working together, I recommend you use a crossbows with piercing to get the arrows back (Healing Arrows won't do damage to players that are missing health, they do damage if the player is full health)
They should change bedrock's recipe, dragon's breath is a deal breaker; no tipped arrow is that good IMO to take that bother. Maybe once for shit and giggles, but is not like I'm fighting wardens left and right.
What's annoying on bedrock is that I have to manually put the arrows I'm using in the left hand to use that effect. I wish you could just put the arrows you're using on your hotbar and just switch from there
Remember that random tipped arrows can sometimes be TRADED with fletcher, as the last tier trade . So if you are willing to take the assle of maxing out several fletchers , you might never have to brew lingering potions ever again ( thus not needing to come to the end nor the nether ) .
