How to make Tiramisù 🇮🇹
The are many legends around this delicious Italian dessert, whose literal translation is "pick me up"!
Our Italian member, Giorgia Renosto from Torino, tells us about its noble origins.
"The Piedmontese version of the history of Tiramisù claims that this exquisite dessert was created in honour of the Count Camillo Benso of Cavour (1810-1861), to lift his sprits after he had been severely tested in his attempts to unify Italy. Thus, Tiramisù developed as a moral lifter for the Count and anybody else around him!"
