What is the purpose of adding HCL in toilet cleaner and what have u substituted it with or its an additional ingredient I've seen someone asking u why u didnt use it
Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is commonly used in toilet cleaning liquids for its effectiveness in removing mineral deposits, stains, and limescale buildup in toilets. The acidic nature of HCl helps break down these tough deposits, making it easier to clean and disinfect the toilet bowl. Additionally, HCl can help kill germs and bacteria present in the toilet, providing a cleaner and more hygienic environment. However, it's important to use HCl-based products carefully, following safety instructions, to avoid any harmful effects on surfaces or individuals. The formula that I used already contains chemicals like Salphonic Acid, soda ash, coustic soda, sles etc so Adding hydrochloric acid (HCl) this solution can lead to a potentially dangerous chemical reaction. Mixing strong acids like HCl with certain cleaning ingredients can produce toxic fumes, heat, or even explosions. For instance, when HCl reacts with caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), a highly exothermic reaction occurs, releasing heat, steam, and potentially harmful gases. This reaction can be violent and cause splashing or release of toxic fumes, posing serious health and safety risks.
Soda ash, or sodium carbonate, is a key ingredient in the production of detergents. It is primarily used as a builder or a water softener in detergent formulations. Builders in detergents help enhance the cleaning efficiency of surfactants by softening the water and allowing the surfactants to work more effectively. In detergent manufacturing, soda ash helps to: 1. Soften water: Hard water contains minerals like calcium and magnesium that can reduce the effectiveness of detergents. Soda ash binds to these minerals, preventing them from interfering with the cleaning process and improving the overall performance of the detergent. 2. Enhance cleaning power: Soda ash helps to boost the effectiveness of surfactants by allowing them to work more efficiently in softer water. This results in better removal of dirt, grease, and stains from fabrics and surfaces. 3. Control pH levels: Soda ash acts as a buffer in detergent formulations, helping to maintain the pH balance of the solution. This is important for ensuring the stability and effectiveness of the detergent throughout its shelf life and during use. 4. Improve solubility: Soda ash aids in the solubility of detergents in water, ensuring that all components of the detergent dissolve properly and distribute evenly during the cleaning process. Overall, soda ash plays a critical role in detergent manufacturing by enhancing the cleaning efficiency of the product and providing various benefits like water softening, pH control, and improved solubility. Its versatility and effectiveness make it a necessary component in many types of detergents, including laundry detergents, dishwashing detergents, and industrial cleaners.
Just came across your channel and am very impress, sorry about your loss. Please can you kindly do a video on fabric softener, thick bleach, handy and bleach, MUSH LOVE FROM SA.

Bermocoll is a type of cellulose ether commonly used in detergent formulations. In detergents, Bermocoll acts as a thickener and stabilizer, helping to control the viscosity and the overall performance of the product. It can improve the stability of the detergent formulation, enhance its appearance, and aid in the dispersion of active ingredients during the washing process. Bermocoll can also help to prevent phase separation and ensure uniform distribution of the detergent components. Overall, Bermocoll plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and quality of detergents by contributing to their physical properties and performance characteristics.
It's called Bermocoll, used to thicken the detergents... 1kg SLES 1 LITRE SALPHONIC ACID 3 TABLESPOONS COUSTIC SODA 3 TABLESPOONS SODA ASH 3 TABLESPOONS Bermocoll 1 cup Salt 18 litres of water Toilet cleaning liquid perfume Blue dye

Thank you so much for the support . If you are failing to get Bermocoll, you can just ask for detergents thickening powder in shops that specializes with chemicals for detergents
Thank you so much for the support.. The small satchet contains Bermacol powder that works as a thickener when making detergents... You can make use of Nitrosol also
@briskaamuga6123 I'm not really familiar with using Nitrosol but maybe you can Start with a Similar Volume -you can substitute a tablespoon of Bermacol for a tablespoon of Nitrosol in your recipe to see how it impacts the thickness of your detergent. This will serve as a starting point for further adjustments. Adjust as Needed - Based on your observations, you may find that the detergent requires more or less Nitrosol compared to Bermacol to achieve the desired level of thickness. Gradually modify the amount of Nitrosol used until you reach the desired consistency.
Hello my dearest... For soaps I'm still learning how to do them as soon as I master the art will definitely come with the tutorial. For perfumes there is a video that that I did on that
SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and Texapon are not the same, although they are closely related. SLES is a surfactant commonly used in cleaning and personal care products for its foaming and cleansing properties. Texapon, on the other hand, is a brand name for a specific type of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which is an older and more harsh surfactant compared to SLES. While both SLES and Texapon are used as detergents in many products, SLES is generally considered to be milder and less irritating to the skin compared to Texapon or SLS. It's important to note that both SLES and Texapon have similar functions but may differ in terms of formulation and concentration in specific products.
Hello Esther I hope I find you well... By the title of the video it's Toilet cleaning liquid and I'm sure you noticed it too. Thank you so much for your concern. Next time I will use Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) though this one I made it for personal use and it's working perfectly fine.I used Sulfonic Acid if you went through the ingridients list. Sulfonic acid is used as an activator in some toilet cleaning liquids. It is a strong acid that helps break down and dissolve tough stains and mineral deposits found in toilets. When combined with other cleaning agents, such as surfactants and disinfectants, sulfonic acid can enhance the overall cleaning effectiveness of the product. Additionally, sulfonic acid also helps to maintain the pH levels of the cleaning solution, ensuring that it remains effective against a variety of soils and stains. Overall, sulfonic acid plays a crucial role in toilet cleaning liquids by helping to improve their cleaning power and performance.
