UPDATE FOR ANDROID USERS: GunMovieFX is not available on the play store or any android App Store , it was removed because it wasn’t getting updates and was glitchy.

@Alex2794Stopmotions oh well there isn’t any specific amount of frames to have, it all depends on how long you want the video to be, that’s up to you to decide :)
Good video, man! Btw, I have a couple of questions for right now. 1. Do you use buildings made out of cardboard? Or were those model buildings? 2. Would it be okay if we use custom characters from Hero Forge?
Thank you , the buildings I use are model buildings I bought on eBay and you can use characters from hero forge , you can do what you like with your stop motions :)
I don’t have the two apps, I just have the stop motion app, so I hope I can still make the videos without the other apps, and thanks for the tutorial :D

Oh mate,I almost forgot,I have a one question,but not about stop motion,about army men.Do you think better buy expensive brand toy soldiers like Timme toys or BMC or even Airfix on internet,or better buy offline cheap toy soldiers?

Apps I use. GunMovieFX (Cost Money) Inshot Stop Motion Studio I’m not sure if these are available on Android but they are definitely available on apple devices
Really wish I have gun fx cause using the editing app I use on my computer is so hard. The stop motion part is fine but I got to add more gun clips on it and I keep getting the sound on the muzzle flash messed up.

I have an Android. I found gun movie fx but it said it was made for an older version of phone so I could not get it. Does anybody know any other FREE visual fx app for a newer Android? I am asking this because I have a stop motion Chanel and I wand better visual fx

Hey there is some problems with the gun movies Fx my phone is a android and a new wich means that i Cant use gun movies Fx but i download from a site and it worked but then i tried to extract the movie i press the button and nothing happen the only thing that worked iš the muzzle flash adding feature and i tried to press the Norton to see how it well look still didint worked so cna you help me
Unfortunately i have never encountered the issue before, the android version is apparently super laggy and broken so it may have something to do with that, sorry I can’t help with that
When I use and shot and try to save my video so I can upload it to GunMovieFX. It won’t work because it says I don’t have enough storage. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks.
An easy way to animate recoil is to just twitch them back and forward a little bit, or place a small object under the front of the toy soldier to lift them up, hope this helps!
With this clay I just slightly dig them into the ground, when I film outside I place a small stick behind them when falling, then change the sue if he stick every frame

I believe it is called onion skinning, all you need to to do is move the line down slightly on the left side of the screen, only works whilst taking a photo.
Sometimes if you take too many photos in a project it does start to lag, best thing to do is limit yourself to a certain amount of photos and then continue it on another project.
1:26 how do I make them look like they used the gun to shoot? My hands are so quick. Or I put it on a place where it can stand side ways slightly? Edit:what I prefer is pictures but since you can cut using in shot I’m fine
What I use depends on where I’m filming , if I’m filming indoors I’ll use a small ball of blutac , if im filming outside I’ll find some random small object to put under it

@@The501stLegion. thumbnails play a big role but there is also a lot others things to do, networking is a very good idea, this is when you look around the community for people like yourself and share your content, not an overwhelming way, but that is important, also your genre is also important, I can see you upload Lego content, the unfortunate thing about that kind of content is that millions of people make Lego content, the competition is extremely high and that makes it not difficult.
When your on your project in stop motion studio there will be a microphone symbol on the left side of the screen, click that and you should be able to record your voice
It all depends on what surface you are working on, if you’re filming on a table then you can use blutac, if you’re filming outside then you will have to dig the soldiers feet into the ground or hold him up with a stick and mask it out later

Sorry about that man , I don’t know any alternatives for Android , the best thing you can do in the mean time is use practical effects but I’m sure you’ll find something
