I hope you like these trees as much as I do, they're amazing! Any questions or if you get stuff, don't be afraid to ask 😄. Check the links for all the products and help support the channel at the same time! 😀
Hi, don't like your choice of glue as it doesn't dry clear. I use Hob-e-tac and leave it for 30 minutes and it gets really tacky. I use a lot of sea foam which sticks really well, but if it's going on a diarama that will have to travel, I touch them with a bit of super glue because if they get too hot or humid they can sink a bit.
Haha, you've accidentally trolled the wrong video!! Don't worry, there will soon be a game with you in, you can troll that. Be prepared to get abused! Haha. Glad you like the trees.
@@BroadswordWargaming nice, will be good to clash against them in the near future. I'm currently working on a Gnoll themed Herd army, and a pure Zombie undead. Always happy to get some Kings of War in!
Hey! No problem. The bases are 3mm mdf. I bought them from a supplier online.. but you could just buy a sheet yourself and cut them to the required size. :)
Thanks dude! Yeah, I used to feel the same, I tried loads of things and they were never right. I like good terrain, it's all part of the game, so these work perfectly for me. Give them a go, they're easy. 😁
Broadsword Wargaming definitely going to make some. Got my first set of miniature yesterday after watching your lord of the ring video so can’t wait to paint them up.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it.. now go and make some trees! Loving it over here, the new studio is better and I've been really lucky to find a good core group of gamers nearby (castlebar), so it's great for getting players into battle reports. 😀 I do miss my 2p coins though ha. Where abouts are you based?
You learnt well from the master ;) Now you know our pain... so much harder to get something that is as good as a 2p at the same cost. 5c work ok for miniature bases but not for this kind of thing.
Something I'd say you need to work on with your videos. You mentioned Scouring the internet for easy ultra realistic trees. You do a fair enough job, but all I got from this video was buy some premade trees and use "The moss stuff" "The flock" It'd be really nice if you explained what they were and who made them. A lot of people who watch these videos are looking for tutorials or what, and just hearing "Oh you buy this moss sheet stuff" Is no good. Where you got it, how you got it, local or internet purchase, ect. These are all things that would be wonderful to know instead of. "Oh you just put this on this, and then add this other thing here." You showed your technique easily enough, but I feel a lot of what exactly you were doing was lost. The only time I didn't feel that way was when you were adding the pine floor covering to the bases and you mentioned what you were adding. All in all not a bad video, I'm aware of the type of flock and things you're using, but I didn't learn a whole lot if I'm honest. Not where to buy any of these products, not what I should get or use over other things, all I learned was "Take premade tree and assemble the pieces"
Hi, thanks for the feedback, especially when its constructive 🤜 I do say (or show) where I got the products from, and there are links below.. theyre just very easy to build 😀 Having just rewatched part of it, I could definitely have gone into more detail. The video is a year old now, so I like to think I've come on some what since then 😅
