A mojito. As I didn’t really know how to make it I made it with a little bit of rum, unsqueezed lemon slices, undesolved sugar and way too much sprite. It was really sprite with rum with some decoration. Really happy to see all the progress I made.
First cocktail was a Mojito for Memorial Day. I've always loved them since I saw Die Another Day. After years of drinking them, I finally learned to make my own and they were a huge hit with my family and the inlaws. I even got a tip! My wife just bought me a dope bar set for my birthday so I'm excited to keep learning and experimenting.
Haha i'm from poland but i learned pyccku in school. Its pretty funny to read parsley with your alphabet, i didnt knew we call parsley the same way, but in polish we writing it ,,pietruszka".
this guy is one of our mentor..! from simple bar tricks to unique cocktail ideas..! keep it up bro, from Cebu ,phillipines.. Vlad SlickBartender!.. shoutoutto all subscribers! keep safe all... !
I have not made a cocktail yet. I'm taking my merry time to learn first from your videos before getting down to it. Theory can't override practice, but I've learned so much from here and there in your videos that I feel much more confident and focused when facing the subject of cocktails. Thank you very much and keep them coming!
My very first "real" coctails (not just a mix) were Kir and Kir royal with selfmade creme de casis. One more pretty favorite then was and still is Blood and sand (an influence of good fiction). I'll definitly try that fragrant peach coctail very soon.
I was at a friends house since my parents are quite strict with alcohol (even if I can legally drink in Sweden). We all decided to pick a drink and try to make it. I picked a Jäger Buck. 1.5oz Jägermeister .75oz ginger syrup .5oz lime juice. Shake and pour in a highball glass with ice, top of with soda water. And I would love a part 2
My first cocktail was a mojito even thought im 12 i acctually make a lot of good cocktails and love to watch you and steve the bartender subscribed to both of you legends
I started drinking at 38... the first BAR cocktail I actually enjoyed was an Old Fashioned. Fittingly, I attempted to make this at home. I thought it was pretty decent then... now, after a lot of trial and error, I make a great Rye Old Fashioned! Thanks for the content, I look forward to part 2!
My first ever cocktail was a “Hugo” its made with prosecco (120ml), sparkling water (60ml), elderflower sirop (30ml) and half a lemon squeezed. Serve with alot of ice in a wine glass, add some fresh mint and you have the perfect drink for a hot summer day!
It is so hot in Florida as well!! My first and favourite cocktail I have made was a cocktail with: silver tequila, tonic water, hpnotiq liquor, and lime🍋 Loving this channel!❤🙌🏻
First cocktail I made was a classic old fashion. And you are one of the main reasons I want to become a bartender, your videos are an inspiration. Thanks for all you do.
"russian rum, russian mint..." 😂 Btw, my first drink was cheap white wine and pineapple soda. In my country we call it "tropical". Its actually pretty good
First cocktail I made? A bit tough to remember. But one of the earliest I remember is the French 75, so sweet, light, and crisp. Perfectly simple and a great introduction to the greater world of cocktails.
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail they are great! First time I had one was simply that someone ordered one then changed their mind and I said I'd drink it and I was hooked.
I made basically the one with watermelon in the start, only I havent done it with campari. Made just fresh watermelon juice. Gin over full glass of ice, juice to fill up the glass to the top and then mint sprig as garnish. Tasty!
Amazing! You've provided a few new styles of cocktail drinks I didn't knew before I saw this video (and made it really comprehensible, yet again!) Would definitely want to see a part 2 of Summer cocktails :)
Hey Vlad! The first cocktail I made was a Lynchburg Lemonade because I tried it at a TGI Friday’s and wanted to make it myself (approximately 8 years ago). I’m sure you know it, but just in case, here’s how I make it: 2oz. Jack Daniels 1.5oz homemade Sour Mix (more sour than sweet) 1oz Cointreau 2 dashes Angostura bitters Served in a chilled highball filled with ice and top with Sprite or 7Up. Garnish with a lemon wedge. Btw, I’m definitely trying that Russian Mojito! Can’t wait for the second part 🤙
My first cocktail was old fashioned. I didn’t like whiskey much but got a bottle as a present and tried to find a good way to use it. I ended up doing 10 cocktails with whiskey and my favorite became the Blinker.
As a Brazilian my first cocktail was caipirinha, can't run away from that. Hope someday you bring this drink to your channel, but as always with something new to it.
Mi first cocktail was a Margarita 1.5 oz of Tequila Blanco 3/4 oz of Triple Sec 3/4 oz of Lime Juice 1/2 oz of Simple Syrup Ice Salt Margarita Glass It was so amazing, I made some for my parents and they loved it
The first cocktail I ever made was a Triple B Smash. 3 large basil leaves, 2 bar spoons blueberry preserves, muddle in shaker, 1.5 oz bourbon, 3/4 cardamaro, 3/4 oz lemon juice, 3 dashes angostura, shake then double strain over fat ice. Years ago I got hired to bartend at a nice bar without ever having drank before 😂 Needless to say, I started to drink as I started to learn. Can’t wait for part 2.
First cocktail was a standard old fashioned. First cocktail made was a rosemary old fashioned by adding rosemary to a simple syrup and using that when making an old fashioned. Would recommend
my first cocktail I made was a painkiller which is pretty much a pina colada but made with orange juice and apple juice with black rum instead of gold rum, it was a party favorite when I made it for everyone.
I believe that the first cocktail I made was a drink called "Lennart" here in Sweden. It is Xanté (a pear and cognac spirit), lime and fruit soda. It is really delicious and one of my favourites! Now I make more advanced cocktails though haha. Love the russian mojito, will have to try it soon!
Can't remember if it was the first this summer but my all time favorite Cuba Libre, made with dark rum and a dash of angostura bitters. Other summertime favorites are mojito (with brown sugar and dark rum sometimes) and Gin & Tonic. Daiquri is nice too or a margarita.
First "true" cocktail I ever made aside from the basics gin and tonic, rum and coke, whiskey sour, etc. was a true Long Island Ice Tea with homemade Sour mix. None of that quick easy premade LIT liquor mix. That was when I realized I wanted to pursue bartending and create drinks while having fun. You, cocktail chemistry, how to drink, and educated barfly have been huge inspirations and helps along the journey.
The first cocktail I ever made was Cosmopolitan. I was on a bartending course at my school, the first time I had a shaker in my hand and I put vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice and a cointreau in it. I decorated it with a pale orange peel. Thanks for Reading, great content ✨.
First Cocktail i Made: Caipirinha! I'm from Brasil and this is the most famous Cocktail here in the country, nowadays followed by the classic "Rabo de Galo" and the "G&T"
First Cocktail I ever made as a bartender: classic Margarita. I work & run a craft bar in a gourmet Mexican restaurant, love your content seen every video and will be adding a few of your amazing cocktails to my menu! Please do part 2!
My first cocktail I made was whiskey smash with fresh mint and lemon and Jack Daniels and lots of crushed ice , but I love the way you make your cocktails great work
My first cocktail was Caipirinha, a traditional Brazilian drink. I made it before i start the classes of bartender and with time i earned more experience and i learned more variations of this classic. Ps: sorry about the sentences mistakes, my english is rusty right now.
Southside was my first cocktail. 1.5 oz Gin .75 oz lime juice .5 oz simple .5 oz St. Jermaine 3 mint leaves muddled in bottom of shaker Shake and strain 1 mint leaf garnish (smacked)
For me, it was a Limoncello Lemon Drop! Limoncello, Vodka, Lemon Juice, and some soda water to top it off. Super delicious and it needed the soda water just to not only dilute the alcohol but also kick it up a notch with the effervescence🤩
Sure, why not?! I'd love to see part 2. Videos are never too long, we can always allocate time to watch it. In fact, I think its a bit short, since I've pretty much watched all your videos that're interesting to me.
The first cocktail I've ever made was a pina colada. I was working for a cheap bar and we never had ingredients like mint or lime, just lemons. So I did it with Malibu coconut rum, pineapple juice and cream
My first cocktail was "The Iceman" its basically vodka, lime juice, pineapple juice, some blue Curaçao and a tiny bit of orange juice. My brother taught me this one at my first job and it's still my favorite. :)
My first cocktails was a whiskey sour. It was the only spirit we had at home at that time and everything else was easy to make. Wasn't that good but fortunately I'm a lot better now and my whiskey sours tastes really good 😋
I made a pina colada as my first cocktail as I loved drinking this when I was on diving vacation so everytime after a dive I was sitting at a bar drinking one once I got home I started making them
My first cocktail I ever made was "Summery Hollywood " which is original made with : 15 ml Martini bianco 45 ml melon vodka Van Gogh 30 ml or one oz of orange juice Couple of mint leaves
My first cocktail was a white russian! I was pumped to see your video on it showing some fancier twists. I loved it though and the response I got from people was so positive, I dove into mixology :P Good luck and ahhh nice apron!
My first ever cocktail I made when I wanted to make a cocktail but based on my imagination since I had no knowledge so I just added random things. But it was actual really delicious: Amaretto (Disaronno) as liqour; Lemon juice; Fill it up with pear juice and ice; garnish with a thyme branch; And here is the coolest part: if you squish 1 blackberry with a garlic press, it works as food coloring so you get really cool red lines in the cocktail. I came up with this idea myself and it actually worked. For improvement I'd add something carbonated and it had to be less sweet since amaretto and pear juice is really sweet so the lemon juice didn't compensate enough.
My first cocktail was a berry peachtini. It has Malibu, chambord, dark rum, peach schnapps, cranberry, and pineapple juice. It was a drink on our drink list and I made probably 2,593 in the year that it was on the menu.
The first cocktail I made was an own creation that I still like to make today: 3 oz of espresso 2 oz of Vodka 1 oz of simple Sirup 1 oz of whipped cream 2 scoops of vanilla ice Shake with ice until the vanilla ice is dissolved, usually 10 seconds. Have fun
