How to Make Vanilla Extract | ONLY 2 INGREDIENTS! (make $96 worth of vanilla for $5!!!) 

In this video we share how we make vanilla extract. It's cheap, easy and only takes 2 ingredients (vodka and vanilla beans). Plus, it's very cost effective to make your own even if you buy the ingredients and don't grow/make them yourself. For example- it cost around $12 per 4oz bottle of store-bought pure vanilla extract. I can make a quart size jar (32oz) of pure vanilla extract for roughly $5. I would have to buy 8 4oz bottles to equal a quart of vanilla which would cost $96!!!!!!!! So yes, we make $96 worth of vanilla for only $5!!!! We have been doing this for 10 years and really enjoy it. Happy homesteading!
