I'm so glad to hear that my friend, who hasn't been feeling well and had lost his appetite, enjoyed the vegetarian dish I made for him last week! He's even asked me to cook it again, which is a great sign that his appetite is returning. Thank you for sharing the recipe, and I'm thrilled that he's able to enjoy this delicious and nourishing meal once again. Cooking for others is always a pleasure, especially when it brings joy and comfort to those who need it most!
Great recipe and amazing instructions! I took the time to get every single ingredient, followed the recipe exactly, and we were blown away at the end result. My son, who NEVER eats leftovers, ate them twice! Well done and thank you Bumbi!
Thank you aunty I loved this video. Besides educational its also hilarious with your humor😂. I am Moroccan but we have an Indian supermarket walking distance from my house. I wrote down all the spices and I am going to try to make this during Ramadan and bring some to my colleagues at work. Thank you!
Thanks dear Ria. I am so happy that you watched this video and really appreciate your time in leaving a comment. I learnt so much from you and it is an honor for me to receive a comment from someone whom I greatly admire. Thanks so much 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for this video. I have to cook for my ex boyfriend's brother as he has come to England and misses his Indian food but he is a vegetarian so this is a big help! I was shocked at how many spices are needed. This tutorial is very clear and well detailed so thank you again. Love how you told the guys to stop watching if they have a problem hahaha and the dog in the end haha xx
Bumbi, Good afternoon,, I simply love your curries, and try and follow each step to cooking it almost like yours. Only thing,, I don't always have the necessary spices and you have, and use what I have...But yours looks absolutely divine,,,,,Yummilicious!!!!!😋😋😋
I love how you are willing to say "if you don't like how I do this, please watch somebody else's videos". I love watching your videos. Please give the dog some of that Biryani, but put him out in the back yard for a few hours after just in case!
My eyes saw pure magic. Maybe the answer to world peace is in the food. I have never seen rice cooked like pasta, this is so much like creating a lasagna, but more infused by a blast of mind blowing flavors (pause on mental peace hahaha)Thank you for using lovely spices, I just learned how to use the rose water. Next on my shopping list 😊 thank you❤
She is hilarious..loving the “if you feel grossed out (because she is using her hands to mix everything), please don’t watch this video “😅😂. Great recipe and a lovely voice!
Don't worry about people's opinion. They always have to be negative. The way you do your cooking just keep it up. This is the first time I have actually seen a recipe in English. Thank you. From Canada
I love that you tell us how to make the recipe vegan! ☺️ And while I don’t like the feeling of mixing messy food with my hands I definitely don’t mind watching you do that haha
Ooooh Bumbi, another wonderful dish i ll be happy to cook, as for tomorrow my children announced they would come over for a visit and like "one of these amazing indish dishes you cook lately"! Thank you so much ! I always chuckle when i hear you commenting and be so considerate of everybody, vegetarians, vegans, whateverians, oil haters aso. With you i learned how to be more courageous about using spices and the use of olive oil and ghee (especially the combination whoohooo)! Your dishes are pure joy not only by taste but also the process of cooking. You look over my shoulders and i hear your gentle advising with every step i do
@@jalexrosh totally disagree !! A pulao is made in a totally different way and should never be mixed up with a biryani. Please first know your basics and then type in your comments.
I agree with you Bumbi. Hand mixing is the ideal way to mix up the ingredients. Veg. Biryani is commonly served by the Indian Railways and its quite popular
My daughter loves to order this dish @ an indian resturant where she lives & says she makes it herself. I have all the spices & bought black cumin & now know since watching preparation of this dish how to use it. I am subscribing to your channel & will share with her. Thank you for this lovely dish!
High fives you Bumbi re using one’s hands to mix and marinate our foods. 🙌🙌 I only ever remember my mother always using her hands to mix in spices etc for meats rtc. Love your sense of humor and all your recipes ❤
What a wonderful video! Thank you, your voice and instructions are spot on. I have been looking for a veggie biryani for ages this looks absolutely delicious. 😊
I am from the West Indies. Finally someone who shows a step by step in an easy to follow format on how to prepare vegetable Byriani. Thank you so much 🙂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks Bumbi, We made this last weekend, for a party of 8, so we doubled up everything. Worked really well, enjoyed by all and left overs of the next day.
Hi Bumbi, I came across your channel last night and straight away wrote a shopping list for all spices for the next day. I made this biryani and your step by step guide is the best Iv come across! The biryani was so tasty and authentic and my kids loved it. Can’t wait to make the next recipe tomorrow! Thank you so much 💖
I'm so proud of myself that, with your great help, I managed to make something pretty close to a real biryani. It's always been one of my favourites and I used to live off frozen supermarket veg biryani! I added some cashew nuts and browned then just before the ginger and garlic. Thank you for your lovely gentle voice and helpful explanations
I really appreciate you giving us the TYPE of pan we should be using. Having a good tool for cooking really makes the cooking experience better. Thank you!!
Hey there! Loving this Vegetable Biryani guide for beginners! 🌱🍚 Such clear steps, even I can't mess it up. Adding this to my budget-friendly vegan lineup - who knew plant-based could be so delish and wallet-friendly? Thanks a bunch! 🙌 #VeganOnABudget
I have just found your channel whilst searching for tofu recipes especially curry ones as im dipping into veggie mode i love what ive seen so far please dont stop they look delicious im going to need spice shopping list 😊
I made biryani for the first time following this recipe and it turned out to be the best veg biryani I’ve ever had in my life! Thank you for the recipe ❤
I made this today for my friends and ourselves as they’re not feeling very well.. they’ll loved it including kids!! I’ve saved this recipe for my next time too.. my husband is a pure non vegetarian and he loved it too 😅
Just fantastic. Excellent explanations and not just "do this and do that" You explain why and what can go wrong too. I'm not Indian, but since I found your channel, I cook more and more of your dishes. Thank you !!
U r one of few good indian cooking channels on RU-vid. I really appreciate your work, no non sense and beating around bush, straight good content. And you have a beautiful and calming voice. Keep up the good work.
Just wish you were my Next Door Neighbour, such a wealth of knowledge and skill. Great "Humour "too.,love your style, always come back for a cooking hit to make my day, such a soothing voice.God Bless!! Thank you!!.🤩🥰🙏🙏
Considering there are people who buy artificially scented trash bags, it seems very reasonable and actually more practical to use the pleasing aroma of leftover spices instead!
Hi Bumbi …. I see why some people only make this on special occasions. So many steps so many spices. But, it was worth … we enjoyed it. ❤❤ Thank you again.
The best biryani preparation I ever viewed. Excellent. No words to appreciate. Keep it. The standard of preparation is of the highest level. Mesmerized.
Whenever I feel tired or stressed I watch your videos, just to listen to your voice and the way you say things. Not to mention the super recipes as well 🥰
thank you for sharing all the valuable tips and tricks ...takes the guesswork out of cooking and saving time 😊 well done for another masterpiece will certainly try ... yummy 😋😋😋
Making this today! Thanks for the help.... this is wonderful. And a washed hand? Cleaner than a glove in an box open to the air any day. There's a reason no cooks in fine dining wear gloves. They're for show, not cleanliness. So good for you!
I just stumbled on your channel, the videos are so clear and calm, and I love that you have some sitar music in the background in some videos, I used to be a sitar student myself for a while, brought back some good memories!
Thank you for this awesome recipe. Love your honesty. I don't understand why people wear gloves when they are preparing a food tutorial, when they are the only ones eating that food.
This is the best demonstration I've ever seen. I really need to try this though some ingredients are difficult to find in our country. Lost of love from Sri Lanka.
I have been looking for Indian dishes that I can make it was so difficult ether I don’t understand what they are saying or it’s mess until I discover you lady you are amazing love your way very clear very easy and proper thank you thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
Thank you SO much for your method on cooking the rice. For the first time in my life I have managed to make lovely rice!! I am so delighted. Youee see biryani was delicious!
God bless you. You are remarkable. 💐💞 That was utterly appetizing! Nothing beats the Indian cuisine! I’m actually glad that our gulf cuisine originated from rich India. I had the honor of visiting it. It was Bombay. 👌🏻🫶🏻 Every corner is interesting, every detail of the simplest things your eyes meet have beauty embracing it and you dear reader will not believe until you visit yourself. Wished I had the time to overwhelm myself by visiting northern India. Who knows, maybe I will someday. 🙌🏻 I’m ordering this biryani tomorrow. 👌🏻
i liked that " i use my hands, and i wash them well before handling any food, if you still find it gross do not watch this video hahahaha" and this is a fundamental etiquette in any Indian family. we always wash our hands before eating or cooking and post eating and cooking. on a lighter note, the world needed Corona to teach them wash hands or avoid hand shakes and hugs and do Namaste, while we are doing it from ages. I liked the dish and also got some good tips. will try this. Jai Bharat 🙏
Bumbi! I Love this Recipe!.I Really enjoyed the tips and advice🤣 I will Let you know, how it's 😋yummy Recipe. Thank you So much for sharing with US!.👏👏🌻🌻❤
Thank you. I made this today for lunch. All five of us enjoyed it so much. It is a wonderful rice dish for any vegetarian. Delicious! By the way, I used the skin of the cardamoms in my garbage can. It is not laughable, very smart. Thanks once again.
Bumbi, i think cardamom shells are a brilliant idea because I use cardamoms almost everyday. Thanx for that tip. I will switch from moth balls to cardamom shells.
I really don't understand why people kill innocent animals for their greedy tongues You've prepared awesome way of vegetable biryani I hope people will try this mouth watering dish Thanks ❤🙏 chef
I love home made spicy biryani, even with chicken I always put vegetable for some reason the potatoes so tasty. Indian and Indonesian food always using basic ingredients for almost any dish. I dont put too much dry spices, made me burp those spices.we dont put ginger all the time. thanks for sharing.
Tried this recipe yesterday and my god it came out to be so perfect, perfect rice perfect veggies. Totally restaurant style. Thank you so much for this detailed biryani for beginners. I had master chef kinda feeling after it turn out to be so perfect 😅Thanks a lot Bumbi
I don't normally like video recipes but yours was precise and eloquent and did not take 10 hours to explain - so was far from boring, unlike Ricardo😂. I use gloves as turmeric stains and is hard to remove from my hands. Well 👍
