I just want to say thank you! Although this video was two years ago, you have truly helped me. After taking 2 lash courses, I was struggling to make fans & this method helped me so much! I got it on the first try. You’re so amazing!! Thank you!
This is the best fan tutorial that I have watched! The glue from my lash kit dried up so I ordered more and also ordered easy fanning lashes. Can't wait to practice and try out your technique 🥰
She first rubbed the glued on base of these lashes with glue remover or stuff called glue aid and she rubbed it along the base and waited two or three minutes to allow the glue aid to soften and dissolve the glue holding all those lashes on that paper then she had removed already a good 20 or so lashes so she could see the glue strip and be able to really get her tweezers underneath the lashes and took only like 7 lashes and grabbed at the base and pulled up and towards the base then she set them down on that bare area of glue strip and gently not hard just real gently used her tweezer to press and move the base until the cluster fanned out then went close to the base underneath again to gently lift that cluster up just use the glue aid first rub it along the adhered lashes wait 2 to 3 minutes to soften loosen up the glued on lash strip then make sure you separate and tweezer underneath as close to the base lift up andtowards base bcuz if you lift up and away from base you end up plucking off the lashes breaking them it will be like clipping the lashes instead of with fortified base. Impossible to work with. I hope this helps .
@@isabelgulden1408 no she made those herself i have same lash boxes they fan because she did all of those steps to fan them out . Shes really really good. She is really the eyelash go to girl.
I agree!!! You can also check out this RU-vid channel, they have here helpful tips and tricks I learned a lot from here as well ru-vid.com/show-UCIqqD5Alj6E36guqcxCsAfw
You need to that box that she's working is an easy fan last tray the easy fan last trays will stay together at the base and make it easier for you to Fan them out that's one thing she left out of the video
Thank you for this video girl! I took my course but still need some practicing. I love your work! And I was just curious as to why lash techs hide their vendors.. well everyone I know they never wanna share what inexpensive lashes they use, it’s beyond me 🤦🏻♀️
Somewhere to keep your lashes during application, grabbing them out of the tray is too hard, you can also have a place for your glue with a glue bubble or something
So these are the easy fanning lash type! My only concern with these lashes is that they are held together at the base of the fan with a sticky material and in turn these lashes will not wrap around the natural lash and that means the retention will not be as great unless a lot of adhesive is used! What is your taken on that? What is your retention with your clients? Thank you for the video!
L Gorman I use the self fanning / fast fanning lashes, they are actually great. Some brands are better then other. It actually saves a lot of time and frustration if Fanning is a challenge. I’ve bought many different brands from amazon, the one I like the most Vavalash and Fadlash. They were the thinnest on the button with barely any sticky stuff. The very first brand I used was Beyelian lashes which nice, but the button was thick and sticky and it would make the fan close up again, I had to reopen them constantly.
AngelBella Liana do you like B&Q better than Vavalash and Fadlash or do you like those two better than B&Q. Just getting started in volume and have only been doing classics so I want to soak up as much knowledge as possible before my volume course in a couple weeks 😊
Denita Houseman so after watching this video I actually ordered the B&Q and they were just like the Beleyelian type, It was still a little thick and sticky on the bottom but not that bad. The one I like the most Vavalash when u pull out the lash it has nothing sticky at the bottom I don’t know even know what holds it together. The best so far.
Oh my goodness… thank you for answering my question. I just took my course and was wondering how they were sticking together. I thought it was the lash aid that held them together. I had no idea their are lashes that are easier to use to create fans. New to the game here.
Does the glue aid almost 'pre-bond' your fans? Whenever I pick up my fan the ends split all ways, where as yours keep together? Or is that down to the actual lashes/ lash strip?
@@stephaniemai6771 Ok thank you! I find that easy fan lashes don't adhere as well to the lashes as they don't grip right. does any one else find this? My glue has a good retention of 4-5 weeks however easy fans they were off on multiple clients within a week! thank you for your reply.
I'm also a lash tec but I think a really important factor that was left out of the video is that those are easy fans lashes so it the way they stuck together at the base without falling apart is not because she did some special trick it's the easy fan last trays those will help to keep them together at the base
I LOVE those B&Q flowering lashes too! I’ll have to get that Glue Aid too now 🌸 Was wondering though what tweezers you are using? Thank you for the lovely and helpful videos 💜
I watch many volume lash video to apply but your way is best is easy at to understand thank you so much 🙏🙏I been doing lash for long long time but my fan will take forever your way is best thank you 🙏🙏🙏you save my life and time
So these are all separate lashes but when you put the glue and fanned it through the whole strip then took some off with tweezers made a fan in itself????
I wish I could comment with a photo. So I just started training on lashing for the first time yesterday. I immediately figured that fanning was the devil to look out for. Just woke up this morning and the first video (this video) I watched has taught me a perfectly technique to fanning!!!! OMG beyond grateful for this. Now I’m looking forward to the rest of my training.
Thanks! I have watched a few volume videos now. What I don’t understand is when you grab too many, like 5D, but you want a 3D... why do artists who do the videos seem to pull off the couple extras like it’s garbage? Doesn’t that add to cost? Why not turn it into a 2D and a 3D? Does the fan not work (as two separate fans) once it’s done? Like once it’s fanned out, it’ll look strange as two different fans?
I like how you explained your technique, I’ve taken a lash class and I’m new to it, and received my certification of completion. If you can please post the products you use for the lashes and the vendor. I have to order more glue cause mine dried out.
I’ve done volume sets and lashes for 4 years. I recently bought some lashes from a reputable store here in Miami but the lash strips don’t have ANY adhesive they fall when you pick it up?
Ok so I just learned something from your video that I had either not noticed on other videos or maybe it just works for you? But I NEED to try...! I jugt got certified like a weekend ago and so I'm still leefecting my skills here. And I find that when I pull my fan and place it back on the adhesive the bottoms always separate... but i saw that when you put your fans on ur adhesive you place the bottom of you fans almost on the dotted lines where mines i placed right at the bottom where the adhesive ends... ill try it and see how this works... i even bought a volume dot thinking it was would the easiest thing. That shit is also hard but im just beginning so i.know soon enough ill find what works for me! Great explanation!!! I look forward to watch more of your videos!
Loved this a esthetician and MUA and jus added lashes to my services … love ur fan tips very happy also where did yu hey get the clear lash tray ididnt see the link
I’m in cos school and I’m already certified but the girl who taught me only taught me for a couple hours I can do it but I just needed to practice so thank you for this video🩷🩷

Thats because hybrid is just a mix of classic lashes and volume lashes so there is no point learning hybrid it just depends what your client wants. If they want more volume youd do a classic then a volume then a classic then a volume..etc. if they want less volume more natural you could do 3 classics in a row (or more)then a volume then 3 classics then volume..etc..does that make sense?

So I keep trying this and it wont work so now im down to process of elimination. I cant tell if its because my lashes are too thin (.03) or because im not using glue aid?? Pls help lol
