Fifty-five years ago, my Daddy would pick up a sack of sliders for the 6 of us when he had an extra dollar. It wasn't often, so when he did, we kids had a real treat and Mommy would get a night off from cooking. I can still remember the smell and taste of them like it was yesterday! Thanks for the memories ❤️😊!

I'm from Texas but back in 2000, I went to Indiana for a 2 wk class with my job. I had White Castles for the first time ~ I was hooked! Then I found them back home in the freezer section but now I found YOU ~ love love love your friendly voice and simple recipes. I made your brussel Sprouts the other day and have had them again since ~ now I'll try these! Thank you
Hello Ms.Gina it's been a while but im glad i watched this particular video,i love White Castle Burgers . I also love how positive, caring, loving U always are . Ur wonderful prayers and Ur beautiful attitude always make me smile. Thank U and GOD BLESS.
gina my friends used to go to the whitecastle during the 1970s i remember alwayhaving a great experience because the foof was so good.and i'm so glad you're introducing the receipe back to us again. i used to love going to whitecastle when we had the munchies. whosoever had the revolutionary idea of cooking whitecastle bergers in general is probably individually rich now.
I lived in Newark, NJ back in the late 60’s and early 70’s after clubbing we would head to White Castle to get burgers for 10 cents. Now after watching your video I will make my own White Castle burger. Thank you Gina you are the greatest.
Hi Joyce. I lived in Chicago and remember when they were that price then one year they raised it to 12 cents! Imagine a 12 cent hamburger. Then we had a place called Jew town! An even better little bit bigger hamburger with all those grilled onions for 25 cents!! Those were the days!!
I am not a cooker, but I gather information in case I have to try. I Love the joy of the Lord in your voice and face. It encourages and uplifts me. The scenery behind you is relaxing also. Keep on cooking Ms Gina.
Yes, love White Castle and miss it since I came to the south. I am in Augusta GA and they don't have one here! I will be trying this right here. Thanks chef for all you, You and the family stay safe and blessed!
I live in Houston Texas! They do not have any White Castle hamburger businesses I was born & raised in Chicago. I loved! these little hamburgers I always buy 10 each time I visit! Love them. Thank you Gina!!!!!!!
Ok Gina Young here is a crown for you! 👑 I grew up on White Castle, breakfast, lunch and dinner. And those burgers that you made are awesome and amazing. Wow if you had that little box I would have said you bought those and put them on a plate. This deserves to be shared out! Gina has out done Gina lol! The only thing missing was my plate. Bravo 👏👏 and Standing Ovation! I don't know how you're going to out do this one! Simply Amazing!

Gina finally you've made something that I just love, I grew up on white Castles being born and raised in the midwest, I could make everything I love except thease burger's, I Always knew the Concept of Building the burger because I always watched them cook the burgers at White Castles but I never knew how to thin out the meat, but watching you took the guesswork out of this great burger, Thank you very much! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 😉👍
I’m from Newark New Jersey and I was raised up eating White Castle I now live in Atl and every time my family comes to visit I have them bring me White Castle
Yessss Lord..I lived in NYC all my life and boy do I remember as a kid how these were made and how delicious Are.They made them right in front of you through a big glass and I remember me and my little cousins faces would be glued to the glass in anticipation of thoes hamburgers we couldn't wait to have them in our belly's 🤣🤣..Thoes were the good old days..These burgers look so good Gina Girl..❤
Gina, I love you so much. Your positivity is contagious and I love that you pray for us in each video - my favorite part. I've made your pea salad, which my 84 year old mother loved so much she took half of it home! Can't wait to make these sliders for my nephews. God please bless Mrs. Gina and her family as much as she has blessed each of us!
I worked for White Castle back in the 70's. Loved how we made them. I just love how you did this. I have a White Castle in Columbia MO. I go there about once a month. Will try it at home so I can get them more than once a month.
Gina Young, I love to cook and try different recipes and you are absolutely one of my top go- to chefs for something new, and delicious to try out... Yes I said, Chef! Now I'm from NY and I grew up on White Castle Burgers and the best Italian pizza you ever want to taste soo they look authentic to me and I don't see how you can go wrong with your recipe. Thx
I never clicked "like" so fast!! I grew up on White Castle in New Jersey... I live in South Dakota now, and no White Castle here, so I CAN'T WAIT to do this recipe!! 💖
I grew up in the Baltimore, MD area in the 1950's and '60's. I don't remember White Castle but we had a very similar place called Little Tavern. They had the tiny burgers too. Since then I've been in Texas and Arkansas and found White Castle burgers in the grocery store. They are ok but not quite like fresh. Your recipe looks like a better alternative to the frozen ones. Thanks for a great channel and your beautiful smile.
Excellent video Gina. I’m a native from Chicago. I really appreciate you exemplifying the home made version of the traditional slider from White Castle. Great work love!!!!
Gina, Gina, Gina, I grew up on wc. Everytime I go to New York I get a 10pk. When I'm leaving I get the 100pk. Yours look delicious but that burger supposed to be thinner but that's Gina's way and it's all good. I never attempted to make them on my own but I will try. I currently live in Georgia and there isn't one here but they have an imitation called Krystals and there's is gross lol. I won't buy them from the freezer either #YUCK!!!! Thanks fellow wc lover 😘😘😘😘😘. I love your show keep doing what you're doing its fantastic!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am so excited. I love love WC and have not had in years. I am heading to the store. Cannot wait to make these. These bring back some really great memories of my family. Thank you!
I’m from Columbus Ohio and grew up on White Castles. I live in GA now and don’t have White Castles, they have Krystals... they are ok, but the bun doesn’t have all that steaminess like White Castles. I think I could smell your burgers thru the video! I will be trying this one for sure 👍🏽😉👍🏽 Whenever I come home I make my traditional White Castles stop. And I do get the frozen version if I just gotta have a burger ☺️
Getting close to 1,000,000 subscribers, you’ll get there! You’re so sweet and give us great ideas for dinner! Actually they look better than White Castle! Yum yum
Thank u Miss Gina, ur the only one I've seen do this right. I'm with u I can't put my bread on top of raw meat, that's crazy and I keep seeing videos do that...I can't and I won't. I will try your recipe Miss Gina it looks really good can't wait!
I'm in Michigan, grew up on White Castle burger's. Don't eat them now because on the frozen package it states that they're cancer agent in the ingredients...I'm glad you chose this recipe...l literally gave up on WC burgers.
I worked at White Castle in Detroit for a few years. The burger cooks with the steam you don’t have to be afraid of it not cooking. The buns go on cockeyed. The bottom bun yes it goes directly on top of the meat but the top bun should sit halfway on the bottom bun and then halfway on the burger next to it’s bottom bun. The staggering of the top buns is how the top bum also gets steamed good too. They also have what they call everything sauce. That is made with equal parts of mustard and ketchup and pickle juice. So if you make 1 c of ketchup and mustard use like 1/2 c of pickle juice. Depending on what consistency you want it to be. You did a great job they look delicious!!
I moved from Chicago to Texas 8 years ago...Gina is making me miss home! I miss the Maxwell Street Polishes as well...after the pandemic I'm going home to Chicago for some Portillo's, some White Castles, some Harold's Chicken, some Garret's Popcorn, some I-57 Ribs, some Maxwell Polishes, and some shopping on Michigan Ave.! 😂😂
@@IamDrSaki Saki, you are speaking to my heart, I-57, Garrett's, my niece moved to Houston about 7 yrs ago as well. She has been here twice since the pandemic. Yes, she even got the real Home Run Inn off 31st.street in Pilsen.
No White Castle in San Diego, CA. However, I buy the frozen one from the store. Not the same... However, it beat eating out. These days I cook at home full time. I am grateful that I finally click on Ms. Gina Young WC Tuesday tutorial👍🏾
I can remember as a kid looking through the glass part where the cooks made/assembled White Castle's. Your set up brought those memories back up. They look awesome. To me, even better than WC.
Hi Gina Young I have to say that your version of white castle burgers actually look much more better than the actual white castle burgers and cheese burgers are my favorite burgers from anywhere where they're sold at. Now I can go shopping on Monday and I am going to buy more ground beef and the yeast buns and the stuff for your homemade corn dogs and I will be good to go. Again thank you so much for another inspired recipe one after another. God bless to you and yours always Gina Young and Family. Peace
You're such a beautiful soul, I appreciate you keep prayer going. I unfortunately do not have a White Castle where I live which really makes me sad. But, thank God I found you on here!
Being from Nashville, TN, that's where I get them freshly made. So to see this got me totally excited. Getting them from the freezer section tide one's appetite for a temporary fix.
Thank you for the recipe. I want to make some. In Los Angeles where I am from there are no White Castles. When I visit family who moved out to Kentucky I get WC. I hear they have WC in Las Vegas now but it still is a 4 to 5 hour drive. I had the frozen ones and they are good but nothing beats fresh so I will try your recipe. Thank you!
Will be trying this for sure! I grew up in Ohio and had lots of white castles. They are sooo good. I live in Az and it’s been 18 years since I’ve had the real thing. I buy frozen ones. Not the same but better than nothing!
Gina, we have White Castles all over Chicago, and two like 5 minute drive away. But , you made me to make my own, which i prefer. Looks amazing young lady. May God continue to bless your every step.
