Even if you make an oscillating circuit in the generator portion - the one with the transistor and the female USB jack - , how do you obtain the DC in the secondary coil ( the receiver round coil ) because you need DC at the smartphone micro-usb power jack? Not all smartphones have a rectifier built-in on the DC power side. They may have a filter-capacitor but not all have a DC rectifier.

Why not put the USB-Plug from the Charger directly into the phone?

Are you feeding 5V AC from the receiver coil to your phone?? Or b/c of the transistor, you're only feeding 1/2 of the AC wave?

I have two questions: 1) why are you using magnet? ... it can work without magnet. 2) Did you measure amp? because I made wireless charger that was produced only 0.3A that is not enough to charge any smart phone.

3 things 1- the speaker has its own magnet and u have to take it out 2- the output of a transformer is AC(its sqr wave here) and its not Dc (u need a capacitor on the out put) and u need a FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIRE to protect ur phone from reverse polarity 3- the output is not regulated and it can mess up ur phone.. After all... dont make this unless u know what to add into the circuit.

Nice concept of wireless charging. Induction. But the problem is about the power to be supplied, the heating of the coil, and the range of which the magnetic flux that will act on the phone coil.

My big question is if there is ac current flowing in the transmitter coil receiver will receive ac current, which is directly connected to the phone without any diode. So basically you're charging ac current to your phone. It might destroy the phone or the battery.. Right?? please answer me. I want to try this, and want to make sure that it wont destroy my phone.

great and amazing job done.. but presentation could have been more appealing... There has to be some way for just putting the phone over the round platform you made, without connecting the receiver to the phone that way . Because then it makes us ask the question, why not just put the USB charging cable inside the phone? Yes, you did it. Wifi-Charging.. I appreciate that.. But try to improve it.. You can do it :)

This one as you have shown it is a bit redundant. Since you're already running your usb cable to the charger running your receiver to another usb plug that is plugged into the phone. Would be as time saving as modifying your refrigerator by installing it inside of an ice box lined with peltier modules. Not alone a waste of time but either one is now for ever uglified with bare spool of wire glued onto the back of it. BUT DON'T GET ME WRONG . I DID LIKE YOUR SYSTEM ON THE WIRELESS AS FAR AS THE PRINCIPLES. BUT THE APPROACH TO ADD IT TO YOUR DEVICE WAS MORE HARM THAN YOUR TUTORIAL WAS GOOD. EITHER IF YOU DID NOT ATTEMPT THE UGLIFICATION OF YOUR PHONE IN THAT WAY. IF YOU SHOWED ANOTHER WAY THAT DID NOT CHANGE THE BEAUTY THAT YOUR DEVICE WAS INTENDED TO HAVE WHEN YOU SEEN IT AND BOUGHT IT FOR THE FIRST TIME. OR JUST NOT PUT THAT SEGMENT INTO YOUR VIDEO. This android is probably equipped with a wireless receiver. Why are you using external receiver? Is it because this cannot work as a native wireless charger? AC should go trough transmitter coil but in this case it's only pulsed dc. I guess the circuit inside a phone only allows AC to go trough although this doesn't make sense. I have lg android and I built similar setup but built in wireless won't kick in although I used 12V as a power supply

the coils should be aircoils without core for better efficiency. I think that magnet should make things difficult.

do you know what is alternating current?? . you need alternating current for wireless charging. you need it at very high frequency . just by connecting a coil with another coil does not produce electricity it produces heat and creats a voltage spike for a second.
