It is not connected with battery because it is based on principle of DC generator. Let me explain, in motor we have some copper windings and two magnets. If we can rotate those copper windings between those two magnets current is induced in the loop ( based on the principle of Fleming's right hand rule ), this electricity is transfer to L.E.D bulb that is the reason why the bulb blinks without any battery. Here I use a permanent magnet DC motor so it can be used as a DC generator. Configuration of DC motor is 12 volt 3400 r.p.m and 3 volt L.E.D. To make the fan ( which is fixed with the motor shaft ) rotate we have to blow it with some external wind source. For this I use a table fan but it is not shown in the video.....Thank you.
Hi, please increase the strength of the air stream so that the fan will rotate faster and hence it will produce the required voltage. If you did that and still not working then switch the wires attached to the motor......Thank you.
These are the materials that you need: 1. 5V DC motor 2. LED light 3. Cardboard (you need a lot) 4. Hot glue 5. White glue (it can be school glue too) 6. Scissors or cutter 7. Connecting wires 8. Parchment paper (optional)
@@anupamajha785 😂😂man u are such a nerd this thing works on electromagnetic principles, when a dc motor is rotated it creates electric and magnetic field which induces current in the wire, more the rotation more will be the induced current. Check out right thumb rule on electricity .
Really a well created and well designed model. Full of creativity and exceptional crafting skills. The part which I like the most is that no battery has been used and the model is only based on the concept of wind energy.
The led glows with a battery hidden. Motor dosent produce more than 2 volts. It's a small motor. And the led brightness will vary if it was run by that motor
Could you please tell me how it did work . Besides DC motor and LED light what materials we are needed to make it working .How we connect these two to produce turbine wind energy without battery
great little project. I would hide the wires in the tube and build platform out of cardboard as well to hide them underneath as well. thank you for great idea
For people who don’t understand how a wind turbine works. The turbine is gaining its energy from the wind causing the led bulb to turn on, there is no batteries powering the bulb.
*According to my knowledge* . I think it's not gaining directly electricity from wind..... Electricity produced due rotation of fan due to wind....... *No offense.... Just a thought
It works because he is using the Motor to power the LED bulb. Wind power turns the blades on the turbine in-turn rotating the motor. He has a fan blowing the turbine to turn it just as wind would. The motor has windings and magnets. Being a DC motor it is easier to use this motor and create power because DC motor has Brushes that run against the armature (rotor) these brushes are wired to the Stator. When both armature and field are excited by DC supply, current flows through windings and magnetic flux proportional to the current is produced. So instead of using DC power to turn the motor you are turning the motor with wind therefore making the DC motor into a generator which creates your dc power and is feed from the motor the LED light he is using. Same as a normal Generator, Normal Household Generator is turned by a Gasoline engine. If you were to remove the gasoline engine and turn the Generator using Wind Turbine or Turning the generator using water turbine it would in-turn work the same.
Thanks, I am taking this as my science project and I didn't got the permanent magnet motor so I got a normal one and a battery and it's working fine without the table fan. I tried it , My first try I got a superb model even I tried in different ways even it worked like I had done another project doing some work with solar energy, I connected it ,it worked perfectly thanks a million
