2 things. As a newcomer to CNC it would be better for your viewers to state up front what a bump stop (or whatever your creating) is and why you need/want them. That way we know what you’re talking about. The other is just a quick question. Did you have to re-zero the Z-axis after changing to the second cutter? Keep up the good work. Your presentation will improve over time.

+Stuart thank you for your feedback i will work on making sure i am better at explaining what the goal is prior, also i do re zero the axis due to bit sizes being different. thanks for warching.

So I did this carve yesterday and the they came out nice. However.....the two parallel tracks which allow you to attach it the waste board were not measured correctly. You cannot line them up to a perfect 90 degrees which defeats the purpose unless you are working with odd shaped material. One of the slots has to be pushed out about 1/16 to 1/8 inch to make it square. Otherwise these are the best bump stocks I’ve seen so far. Gona make another 4 today.

this might be old news by now but on two stage carvings if you make some chages to your gcode and ensure the correct dip switches are turned on then you will absolutely not move your bit when changing. there are instructions further down this page. www.designsbyphil.com/x-carve-tips.html
