it's so amazing how you can produce this music with a computer and no "actual" musical instruments. you are so crazy talented!!! please keep making these vids
I'm not japanese nor chinese, yet the translation fit so well to my experience of Yorushika's melancholic tunes. Also, as you mentioned that you want to create similar music, I've had that fantasy for a while too :) the only problem is not getting the chance to amid all this growing up and not getting the time to either. Hopefully one day after this is over we both can enjoy to our heart's content. Keep rocking!
final product came out amazing, really captured yorushikas style very well so good job & thank you for such a well put together tutorial. i hope youll do a full video dedicated to mix some day, but for the time being would you mind quickly listing some of your go to plugins when it comes to sound processing? thanks for the tutorial again.
This is my fave band/duo, Yorushika. And you really did amazing here, composition and everything! What I like about them is they actually don't stick their "music" to a specific one, and they add spice so that their albums or releases actually has stories behind or plot(?) (there's a dedicated forum for anyone who wants to understand Yorushika's timeline). They basically make music based on moods, literally, to the point even in a single album it's a mix-up of anything nice, and I highly respected n-buna for that, even put "external noise" to good use (listen Kumo to Yuurei). If you listen to those chosen songs to have MVs in their channel, it's like a lottery of what's to be released next, and it's always goodsht, yet those are just the surface of the goodness of the good! If I compare the duos YOASOBI and Yorushika, I'll always pick the latter any time of the day.
i feel like this song is more like N-Buna type rather than whole yorushika as N-buna used to make vocaloids but after forming yorushika he specializes on guitar riffs and melody while suis handles the vocals so
agreed, it kinda reminds me of a fusion between modern yorushika and n-buna's old vocaloid songs. the tone of the lead guitar especially reminds me of meru (メリュー) though in this video it's a bit grungier
0:00 Yorushika 1:03 Started 2:16 Intro 5:57 Prehook 7:07 Hook 8:56 Vocals 10:52 Result... 12:37 Special* There are many things that I haven't mentioned, it will make this video too long and boring. Anyway THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 3108 SUBSCRIBERS❤️🔥 3108人の購読者ありがとうございます❤️🔥 Enjoy :)
This has inspired me to create my own Japanese song. I've been a fan of J-music for a very long time. I have ideas for the song structure, but I'm not sure how or where to start. Your video will be very helpful for me, and I want to thank you for that. Hopefully, I can make and finish my song very soon. Thank you again!
Damn that was REALLY helpful - thank you! Do you mind sharing how you panned each instrument? I tried doing a similar mix (2 electric guitars, 2 acoustic, piano, bass, drums) but it seemed very muddy and cluttered.
try taking out the bass out of the instruments that arent a bass instrument and mess around with the eq on all the instruments till the all sound flush with each other. this process may take awhile but if u dont want to or dont know how to, find someone online to either do it for u or teach you
I'm just Wowed at the fact you managed to replicate Yorushika's music style. but it made me realized the magic of there music is played by Suis vocals without it i don't feel like it has the same magic or something.
Such a good video I just stumbled upon. Aight I'll wait here for the algorithm to pick your channel up. Don't forget this comment when you get 1M subscribers.
I know a guy who wants to be featured in a n-buna song (He's learning to sing), but he doesn't have any connections as he's going to university to do something related to physics (I think?). It was pretty useful
