i love your builds! they're so realistic, i feel like i've literally walked past a house like that, especially living in a poor neighbourhood. it's so refreshing to see a simmer that creates builds and characters from a reality that's close to us, really hits home.

it's interesting seeing how you actually make your builds and very useful. If I were to ever build a house but it's so not my forte. I've honestly been loving playing in your save and making your townies over with my big cc addiction. And slowly uncovering the secrets of portsim...

You know. I think houses in my neighborhood are so boring. I live in Bay City, MI if you wanna Google map that. Lmao. But after playing in your Portsim save and watching these videos, I might actually start using them for inspiration. Small towns and cities don’t have beautiful, modern suburban houses. They have boxy old houses that people were only concerned that could fit their 10 kids in because there was no birth control. 😂 These types of houses always looked crappy to me in game but you put so much thought in to making them realistic, they don’t look crappy to me. Just realistic! And I am inspired. Thank you!

What a brilliant tutorial. You win hands down for showing and explaining how to put this kind of realism in our builds. I can't wait to try this. Didn't know you could do so much with no cc. (The audio was very low and I had to turn it to max to hear you, but this was excellent otherwise).

omg thank you for this tutorial! I am very new to building it was never my thing until recently. I learned a lot from this tutorial alone for how to fill up the space I especially hate landscaping, this gave ideas and a whole new way of thinking of how I should approach it. Again thank you!

Thanks for the tips Something else i would add to garages is using the ones from the industrial kit (i think that's the one), they can look like garage doors since they are big and sliding

Can you do a video for how you build the actual houses themselves? I find the boxy, mismatched, realistic style very hard to do

I actually really like how monotonous your voice is. It's calming and it's a fun contrast to the chaos that is usually happening in your LPs. I will say though, and you obviously don't have to do this but it's a piece of personal feedback, that I would appreciate if you tried to move your camera around a bit less. I get that we all do it subconsciously, but it personally makes me a bit dizzy, maybe that's just me tho! Anyways I love your yt content so far and I'm rlly happy with how good you've been doing!!
