Hi Jai, your work is beautiful 🥰 I recently received that modelones lamp that you’re flash curing with and I thought that that lamp could be used for flash/full cure but I see you use a different lamp to fully cure. I’m asking you because I’m a newbie to the d.i.y. nail squad. Thank you for all you do🌺

Hi, I use the Modelones Lamp for both purposes ☺️ I sometimes still use my big lamp just out of habit lol it’s not needed the Modelones Lamp is great by itself 🤍

Can you do a side by side review of modelones beetles and apres tip? I got some apres tips today and I don’t get the hype they don’t even come pre buffed…

Jai, Do you recommend gloves to everyone as a “Must have” to be a part of their kit? Do they really make that much difference? From the ones I have found, they don’t have a rating on their SPF so is that a “tell” that they are not a good enough quality? I see you wearing them and a couple of others I have had pop up due to my “algorithm” for some odd reason LOL! (ZERO other Nail Gurus until I started to Like, then “Follow” and then put the follow to “Notify ALL” so THAT tells you something. (Clearly “THE” algorithm feels YOU are the “Nail GURU” as well❤!). Thanks for your thoughts on the gloves and if you have any suggestions to a brand I would be grateful as the SPF seems to be eluding me. Much ❤appreciated

Hey, I actually use it just as a preference with me creating a lot of content just to protect my hands for the most part. It’s not needed if you’re not doing your nails a ton to also put SPF on. I hope that helps.🤍

I DID find your “store” and although I am in 🇨🇦it is still a MUCH better deal to go through YOU than through .ca (even with our horrific exchange rate…..ugh….politics. Found the gloves (WICKED DEAL) as well as the goose neck LED and one of them come WITH the gloves! Could be great to have regardless! Plus …. If you can imagine….I loathe the feeling of SPF on my hands of ALL places as what do people notice FIRST when they are attempting to figure out your age ? YEP…..HANDS! I have found that Glutathione has been one of those heaven sent products (I get IV’s once a month and the best location for my sad wee veins happens to be my hands) and those IVs have had one heck of a wild “side effect” in that they have taken AWAY ALL OF MY “LIVER SPOTS” and my hands actually LOOK GREAT other than the scars from my younger Daredevil Days LOL! WHO KNEW…..Glutathione IV’s and POOF, 20 years OFF your HANDS! Blew my mind and I am a Nurse Practitioner (Ret). Thank you AGAIN. I REALLY LOVE your Channel and have my notifications on for you which I do not do for many of those that I follow!!! You’re WORTH IT DOLL!♥️🙏🏻 PS: I HAVE GOT to get one of the “Ball” drill bits. I LOVE how it works and it is one of the few that I do NOT have! I am getting better at doing my own nails thanks to you and find it quite cathartic. I doubt I will EVER be doing the “Neighborhood Kids” for fun but at least MY nails won’t look like I was just finished plowing the back 40 LOL!!!!

So you don't add the gel to your natural nail over the primer before adding the gelled up nail tip?

Hi, No I do not also apply the gel to my nail beds I found that my nails would pop off when I did that. 🥲

Ok, a couple of mine would pop off (usually thumb and pinkie) but I use a thinner layer on the nail which seems to have solved the problem, I always thought gel sticks to gel. Might try it this way to see what happens, happy to shorten the process if it works!

Yes, I used to use the Apres system and they would have instructions for you to do those steps but all other systems that I’ve tried don’t require to put gel on your natural nail bed and on the extension. Give it a try and let me know what you think.🤍
