This just goes to show that design is very individual! I agreed with some of these but others I had the complete opposite opinion! For one, too many pillows on the couch or bed to me makes a space uninviting! It makes the couch very lumpy and bumpy and uncomfortable, two pillows TOPS is enough for a couch. Any little decorative pillows will be tossed as far away from me as possible if I'm actually trying to be comfortable and cozy. And again to me personally, if you're moving a single pear to make your house feel lived in I do NOT want to touch anything, I'd be scared to mess up such a heavily manicured space. If you want a house to feel lived in... Live in it! It's pretty easy! 😂

Hi Evelyn....I love your videos. I always learn something new or reminded of new decorating techniques I had forgotten. Love hearing what is no longer used in decorating, as well like the chopped pillows. As you said, having our homes inviting and lived in gives that cozy factor everyone likes. Speaking of cozy, I feel this term is overused in everyone's decorating videos and needs to be phased out, too. However, I'm not sure what it can be replaced with. Do you have any suggestions? I like how you used the warm feeling in this video and cozy sounds so much better. However, there has to be another word to better describe warm cozy. Lol.... Do you or anyone else have any suggestions?
