Another trick is while you clean or after you cook with heavy smelling foods, put to simmer water and a little bit of fabric softener. This works even for people who smoke in their home 👌🏽 thanks foe the tips girl!

I definitely need to up my game with the diffusers, we live in an older home and ot has a unique scent lol so I prefer fresh air and some essential oils not strongly chemically scented things. When you are ready to sell your house, contents included, I will make the commute 🇨🇦💋😘
I have two diffusers, super amazing depending on the ones you like, it can up your mood, clean the air, help you sleep etc, I haven't bought a candle in a WHILE. But I do miss them you're about to make me buy a $40 candle. and LOL pine sol is such an old school thing. *edit* THE VENT FAN IS SO TRUE. i live in a small apartment. its loud af, but so useful for smells.
You’ve gotta try PINALEN....you will LOVE it. I stop buying pine sol and now I use Pinalen. It smells so clean. I use powdered detergent or fragrance beads in the bottom of trash cans before lining. Wax warmers are a plus....and I love wall flowers. Great tips!

I use wall plug ins and it stained my wall, Mercer again will I use them. Other than that I’ve tried most of them and they do work, to me the best thing is to wash immediately your pots and pans if you’ve fried any food, also the trick of putting soap on your pans works to loosen up sticky food. Yes I love the lavender Lysol! The lavender lysol toilet bowl gel is absolutely amazing but it is so hard to find. If you can find it then you owe it to yourself!!
Woww I needed these tips! I'm living in an apartment by myself for the first time, and it's so easy to get lazy with cleaning. The best thing I found is just to have a small kitchen garbage can. That way I have to take it out super often. Also Poo-Pourri for the bathroom!! It's a lifesaver haha, especially when your bathroom is connected to your bedroom..😂😂
I burn on the. Stove rose petals with lemon & vanilla 😍 oh my people have told me all the time my house smells good I used to to do fabric softener but it wouldn’t last & plus inhaling all those chemicals is a no for me 😅

This video was so helpful. I live in Florida In an apartment complex and we all know that one man palmetto bug is another persons problem. I do a pretty good job of keeping them out my house but from time to time, I would catch one in my bathrooms. I’m gonna try that pin sol today

I actually LOVED this video! It was the first one I've watched on this topic, and it was super good. I actually have all of these things - I just haven't been on top of my cleaning game these days so I actually started cleaning while this was playing on my TV haha. I got a Vitruvi as an early Christmas present TODAY! It’s already plugged in and my house smells amazing. I’m using an oil I found at Home Goods from a brand I’d never heard of called Tisserand? It’s the “mulled wine” mix: orange, clove, and cinnamon. Doesn’t smell like mulled wine at all (lol) but it’s SO GOOD.
Omg! Thank you for mentioning the hood fan! I feel like I’m the only one who utilized this. I even leave it running on low when I leave the house. It sucks out left over cooking odours. I cringe when people cook without turning it on 😖
I like to use the ScentHD Home Fragrance Machine. It's a game changer for sure! I use Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products (Basil is my favorite), but you're so right about the disinfectants. I'm going to give those candles and the diffuser a try.
ALSO - I just want to say, my favorite place to buy candles is HomeSense because they have such good ones (with cute design) for super cheap! Most of all, I love BAIES by Diptyque, but I can't afford to spend 300$ on a candle haha but I just found them on eBay! Gonna do that.

I have yet to find a plug in smell that does not smell overbearing or cheap. During the summer I have to keep my blinds closed and the window closed due to the intense sunshine that comes through the window so when I come home it has this smell that I don't like ... which drives me crazy. Hi Gemary, try foam rug cleaner to clean your couch/sofa, spray on it wait like 10 minutes and then a clean soft cloth and bam you will thank me later (please try first in a small part just to be safe) hope this help btw I love your videos and happy 4th in your boat :)

I liked your video. I so love to clean it's very calming to me. I can not use pine cleaner or anything strong. I have very bad allergies that would send me straight to the hospital. Going to look at this diffuser it sounds very nice.
I have the lemon pine sol place an inch high in a empty spray bottle add water to the very top . I make a spray bottle for bathroom and one for kitchen and spray the floor and swift with dry swifters save a time n of money plastic and smells good in the whole house. My job i implemented this at tea store customers love the floor smell its lemon fresh
Everything you use I use the same thing the pine so I use the blue one smells so fresh I love for my house to smell clean and fresh also I use the wax warmer as well

Love love love this video (gotta go back to good ol'pine sol) BUT am I the crazy cleaning lady? I live alone with a few plants in a small studio and I mop at least 2x a week!? LOL I was shocked to hear some people mop once or twice a month (no offence, perhaps I should re-think how often I clean).
Lol no! That's not bad at all, my mom use to mop every other day when I lived with her!!!! lol sometimes I mop more often if I have people over or if the vacuum is not enough. I vacuum and clean every week so I find that I can maintain and I only need to mop & deep clean every other week. Idk if it's the fact that I have wood floors but aside from my dog's hair it doesn't really get dirty that often, like I can walk barefoot and my feet stay perfectly clean an entire week after mopping. I guess it just depends but I think there can never be too much cleanliness ❤️
Love these tips!! One thing though, if you have a doggo, you should switch to a natural floor cleaner. There’s a lot of chemicals in that (as you can tell with the bugs instantly dying lol) and your dog lives / breathes closest to the floors. It really sucks too because I looooove pinesol, I’m Latina so it was harrrd for me to stop using it lol.. I use a steam mop though, maybe it’ll work for you too ^_^
