What's point of having laptop if it's only 128gb ssd. U can hardly have 5-6 decent softwares. And ssds are better in read and write local storage, so to compensate that u can get little higher ram version with hdd. But i do prefer ssd. But in terms of value for money both are good.

Adding 1, Delete previous windows version after update this alone will free up 30~35GB 2, Switch to ssd if still running on hdd, this will make huge difference

Protip - Sir, pt. 5 is little incomplete Because you should defrag only when your laptop/pc has hdd storage/hard drive but not if it has SSD. In reverse, defragmentation of SSD harms it's performance and life So Hard drive storage - defrag ✔️ SSD storage - defrag ✖️

U didn't say that defrag is only meant for hdd ,mostly now we get SSD which donot to require defrag Also windows defender is not strong or good enough to keep it as standalone OEM for AV ,you definitely require a good 3rd party AV
Actual 4gb is enough for normal users to use windows 10. If you not believe me then while you use your laptop open task manager and click on 2nd tab and see how much Ram you consumed. For normal users its always within 2.5Gb/4Gb ram. But in startup without using any app u can see it around 1.7Gb/4Gb

Yes. Never do defragging for SSD and Nvme disks. It will reduce their lifespan. But the sad part is Windows by default enables defragging for SSD and Nvme disks also. You need to manually turn off defragging if you have SSD or Nvme disks.

Very True. Add atleast 16 GB RAM if using Windows 10 (1909 or above builds) and the boot time comes down to seconds. My laptop boots in just 17 seconds. It had Windows 10 20H1 build.

Windows Update increases the use of your system resources and might slow down your PC so do install the update which you need otherwise do not install it
Some additions. 1. Do not update windows updates as soon as they arrive. A lot of instances happened where windows update caused trouble. 2. Switch to New Edge. Works like chrome. Doesn't eat up ram so much. 3. Switch to SSDs for better performance. Faster loading, snappy performance. 4. Keep available space in C drive. 5. For older computers, thermal paste needs to be changed. Also clean up heatsink and fan. 6. If possible switch to dual channel ram setup (Some older hardwares too have a slot empty, do some research).
