I've used a Silk fabric to make the saree, You can either use tussar silk or raw silk..or you can even use any art silk fabric..It totally depends on you

Hi Nandini..I'm from kolkata and I usually buy fabrics from wholesale markets (like in Kolkata we have Barabazaar). I'm sure every city has their own wholesale markets where you get a lot of options and also the prices are reasonable. Same with the borders...The price varies depending on the work and the width of the borders...like in this video I've used 3 borders of different width and prices so that my saree gets a rich look n also its not heavy on my pocket!
