Thank you for a refreshing RV video. It’s not cookie cutter like all the others. I like ur decorating ideas and gives me memories of how our life was when we first started out. We r now grandparents and travel in our RV. Btw we have a dog, cat, bunny and two parrots. ❤
I like how a lot of your improvements and ideas don't really cost an arm and a leg to do - just some simple work and you've totally changed the interior of your trailer. Sometimes it's the little things we do that give it that "ah - that feels like home" feeling.
We added a shiplap look wallpaper to our living room slide. It gives it more of an updated look and it just feels more relaxed. We also changed the closet doors to a barn door type look and painted them white. It brightens the space so it isn’t so dark in the bedroom.
The customizing tips help me feel that it's ok to make it your own. We get a lot of static in ours. Especially with the blankets and comforter. I'd love to see Roe model her sleepware and yoga pants that help combat static.
Really enjoy your videos and appreciate all the tips and tricks. Love the bedroom canopy and lights! We bought a used RV recently and the first thing we did was paint the walls and cupboards. It immediately made it feel more like our own rather than someone else’s!

I have made the error in buying rare collectible RV's in excellent shape so I haven't modified them. I now have a 4x4 van that's not rare that I'll be modifying. Good points in the video helps my thoughts out. Thanks.
I tell you what, you guys just have the life, lol. I'm sure it's not easy at times, but to travel around and see this great country while yr young and can enjoy everything, that's living. I love yr videos, please do some more out and about, I wanted to do this kind of life, but unfortunately my health just doesn't allow for it, so I kind of live it through you guys and other full timers that post their adventures. Great work and enjoy life, love each other, nothing else is more important than the love of a good partner. Take care.
Being a musician, the one thing I have done on every camping trailer we have had (on #4 now) is upgrade the speakers. The factory speakers these things come with are garbage. Most are 6.75" size and there are lots of higher quality auto speakers in that size. I also added a powered sub in our last camper in 1/2 of one of the dinette benches and am working on adding one in our new Solaire 249 RBS-- there is a huge unused/wasted space above the outdoor kitchen components that is directly behind the TV that is basically inaccessible. Trying to figure out the best way to access some additional storage there and also partition off part of it for the subwoofer. For me at least, having decent sound when listening to music or watching a movie on a rainy day is well worth the minor expense.
I hate the speakers in our trailer, any recommendations for a good 6.75 that won't break the bank? Turns out the JBL that was installed from factory is garbage.
@@goindh Speakers are such a personal preference as far as sound I'd be hesitant to make a recommendation. Crutchfield carries a wide variety of 6.75's. If you are using the factory stereo/dvd player the actual RMS wattage is very low so the more efficient the speaker the better. Bear in mind that you are going to get NO real bass from speakers in the ceiling as the air space "cabinet" around them is so small. Hence why figuring out a place to put (and a way to connect) a sub can really help the overall sound.
I agree. Definitely update the mattress. I slept on my stock mattress for 2 years. Shoulders and back ached the whole time. Years later I have a nice thick Casper mattress. Feeling and sleeping much better.
I took out my dinette as well, for the same reason. It was very uncomfortable to sit in while working. Now, I did not build a desk. I happened to have an old computer desk that is very lightweight in storage and I use it. The difference in how it looks is amazing and did open the area up a little bit. I have also put up pictures and items on the walls and moved in some of my figurines. I have a way yet to go, but it is coming along.
Fully agree with carpet.....it's what makes a home. Suggestion: when new carpet time comes pull out the old and lay it on the new for a pattern to cut by. Also, what about some of the peel and stick tile for your kitchen walls above the stove and counter top? Bathroom also. Love your video's!!!!

I suggest some light contact paper for the "inlay" of your cabinets...you would still have to fight with pet hair underneath, but it might be an inexpensive, easy, solution! Hope that helps.
Hay like your office space that works it seems. Also I agree on those mattresses. Big question y’all love it .. but the big test does the puppy 😁😁. I know when I got a new one, for awhile I don’t think my puppy like it at all. LOL🎩🎩. Forgot to ask how y’all like that bluetti. I finally got the AC200 and haven’t put it to the test yet...
Thanks! We love our workspace so much after getting rid of the dinette. Sweetie loves our new bed and sleeps on it basically all day when we have lowkey inside days. And we really like our Bluetti too, it is a really nice tool to have.
Those chairs are on wheels. Obviously they have to be secured while you're moving the trailer. It might be worth talking at some point about how you secure things during travel.
It is crazy how in demand RVs are right now. Apparently out trailer is worth $14,000 right now which is exactly what we paid for it brand new 4 years ago!!
Also... we took down some cabinets, put up shelves insstead to open a space up in a few places. Also the sticky tic tac tile things ( that is the official label of that product 🤣) things in the kitchen We also added them to the bathroom. Then added a shower curtain and extend obal rod instead of the plasticky thing that was in the RV tub. As well as a whole bunch of other stuff. Not a full renovation but darn close. 🙈🤪
We painted our walls and cabinets.. and while it looks so much better; it was horrible trying to do it while living in it with our Parrots, Ferrets, Dogs, and Cat lol. We did the main living area but never did the bathroom or bedroom lol. Painting is not fun lol

Haha, we don't know when our next live stream will be at this point because we've been a little traumatized by Alice getting hurt, but we'll let everyone know for the next one for sure. And yes,the snow all melted and we left that area shortly after that haha. Gotta escape that snow! -Roe

I think home is where your pets are. Unless I'm scooping cat poop or stepping in vomit I don't feel at home anywhere. The point of the video was about decorating and upgrading. I'm not disagreeing with how much that stuff helps too.
We appreciate your concern for our pup but the high when we filmed this video was in the mid 70's. It was a beautifully mild day and we had all our windows open.
