Really very helpful.I made two strings out of excitement..While making the second one, i joined 2 wraps of yellow thread with the white ones and it just looks awesome...Love the the color combination...the strings are just perfect..Now i'm thinking of putting these strings on ebay (lol)..
This tutorial is bad your length is to short as you'll have to fold it in half later . You'll need to start out with at least 10 ft of string to end up with 5 feet and when you twist it you'll end up with two feet less in the end
I am going to make yoyos on a lathe. I am just starting out. I want to make better yoyos than can be found in stores. Thanks for the tutorial on making the string.
I doubt that's possible without a great deal of money for top of the line lathe and bits and good material and lots of practice .yoyos today are high quality and with cheap metal yoyos that play like 300 dollar yoyos it's almost pointless to take this undertaking unless you want it to end up as a career so you can open your own store
