You’re so creative and talented you haven’t done anything that I haven’t loved yet ! All of these are absolutely beautiful I love them ! I could watch you for create forever !
I just finished making 8 of those smash can baskets. Giving them for favors at a shower. So much fun. Painted all the cans, then some I decopodged with fall leaf napkins or patterned napkins before I smashed the can and then added some cut out cards on top . Some I left with paint and either used stickers or rub ons. I made a Christmas one, bunny one…then added flowers or greenery to them. I did use a nail to make holes on each side and used jute, some with wire and beads for handles.
Lisa, these are soooo pretty! I love the look of the lace around the flowers, I must try that. The wall pocket is gorgeous, gonna give that one a try too. Thanks for the inspiration!
Lisa these diys turned out Gorgeous. Love each one. TYFS and sharing your incredible diys, and fantastic inspiration. Just Love your videos sweet dear friend. (Pauline S)
Miz Lisa, I've not been much of a fan of those tin can wall pockets but this one rather intrigues and entices me! My favorite though is the lamp. I love how it looks and that shade is really cute. One of these days I'm going to try my hand at those shabby roses....good job, girl!
I have been getting really into tin can pockets lately. I take snapshots of ones that I love and this one is so beautiful and creative! Thank you for the ideas.
Lisa, The smashed can is beautiful. (Help with can.) You need one of those curved needle’s or straight needle’s that have a large eye. I think they are upholstery needs they come in a set of 5 10 different sizes. I have a set I got at Walmart. They are not very expensive. I got mine to sew the thick boarders of pillow shams together using cross stitch thread to make a cute baby blanket for my granddaughter. I found these pillows shams on clearance at Walmart for less than what you could buy a similar country quilted baby blanket I was looking at. I bought 4 shams. My blanket was bigger and still cost less, even though, I had to buy the cross stitch thread and needle pack.
That wall pocket is so beautiful. I've made them but not that gorgeously. I thought of trying to use a large eyed needle for yarn to put the ribbon through the holes.
Lisa these all turned out so beautiful. I've made a few wall pockets with the cans. BUT I have to try the one that you made. I'm flying home to Atlanta next week. I know someone who would love this! Take care.
You have converted me to do the vintage cottage projects!! I absolutely love all the projects you do and watch and save all your videos!! You are surely blessed by God with great talent in design. Thank you for sharing your design style, I love it and am excited to get started remaking things for the Christian ministry retail store I manage in King, NC. God bless you!!
I really was happy to watch u today cuz it's so cold here and snowy so was a nice relaxing time indoors. And by the way Lisa, I have a daughter with the same name actually my only daughter. She's not into any kind of crafting at all but does appreciate that I love it. I actually had gotten a can from a friend and I only got as far as crushing it. Now I know how I can make it look absolutely beautiful. Thanks to you, you are just so talented and skilled at everything you do.
Hey Lisa!!🌼 You can also use a big darning needle. That might help with your carpal tunnel syndrome. I love making these smashed cans and your idea of adding the holes is brilliant!! I love the shabby rose wall pieces as well!! You always have the best ideas!! I have a couple things I want to send you, maybe we can swap addresses? 😃
Thank you so much sweet friend❤️. If you can give me your email address I will send my address to you but you don’t need to send anything. I so deeply appreciate your encouragement and support🙂. The darning needle is a great idea!
I’m really impressed with the can. It turned out so pretty n there’s so many things that if you want you could place into the can. Flowers, greenery or maybe sweet love notes. I think I’ll be saving a few of my cans now. Clever idea with frames using paper scraps for back ground, they looked so sweet also the lamp with the lace. Always enjoy watching your videos n can’t wait what you’ll try to make this time. Thank you Lisa for your artistic ability. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
Our Shabby cottage is AWESOME!!! You are truly talented!!! Are you posting in Pinterest? Thank you for being generous with your craft and ideas 🙂 you inspire me! I can’t wait until your a “big” channel. Thank you again
Lisa is absolutely awesome 💯 I consider her channel on the bigger side already. There are content Creators that have been consistently posting videos on YT for several years now and haven't even hit the 3K mark. I knew from watching her first couple of videos that she was going to grow and grow fast. I honestly think that with all of my time on RU-vid, her channel has grown the fastest that I've ever seen and keeps continuing to grow. Her talent is astounding and she puts out amazing content ❣️❤️
Love these Lisa. I got several large cans from our local school. I've removed the ends and drilled hanging holes. I haven't been able to get in my shop to finish them because of our high temps lately. But love the lace you used. I'll definitely be on the lookout for lace things now. Thank you for sharing the shabby rose. I plan to try my hand with them.
Everything looks amazing Lisa. It's all so shabby chic beautiful! Such amazing talent you have been given by our creator. God bless you and your family.
Some flexible knitting finishing needles would help with threading the strips of cloth through the holes in the can. I found mine on Amazon and use them frequently in my macramé projects.
@@ginacable5376 oh my!!!! Whaaaat??? No way....8 tablespoons of Elmer's white glue and 2 tablespoons of water. What I do is used the old empty bottle of mod podge I had and filled it with these 2 things and shook it up good. It's already in the mod podge container so I didn't have to label it. I only had a small container. For a larger portion, use 16 tablespoons of glue and 5 tablespoons of water. Also, I tested it to make sure it would work the way it should on something I practiced on. That's basically all it is is glue and water. ⚘️You're welcome! ⚘️
Adorable Lisa so cute my favourite was the pocket love those flowers that you do and the strips on the bottom really took it to another level.I could watch you for hours. I think you should just set up a camera so we can watch everything you make for your shop.. lol.
I thought Waverly Agave was a pretty bright toned blue color?! Unless I am mixing up my colors somehow, I thought it was Agave that I used just recently that was definitely a brighter blue tone. The color you are using looks green. It actually looks a lot like DB Kudzu Green.
God bless you SO much, Lisa! Jesus died and shed His precious Blood and His body was SO broken…for us…but Hallelujah…He rose from the grave victoriously…ascended to Heaven and is coming again…soon…in the Rapture…for those that have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour! God bless you this Easter…❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When you’re painting an item, you don’t give enough detail. The plastic frames you painted, were you using chalk paint or regular “house” paint. It makes a difference when you replicate an item.
I love the pop of green color otherwise it get too monochromatic and boring. Frames came out beautifully as did everything. I’m a huge lover of lace because I love Victorian style so the can was a great make over.
