I had edited the entire session, the vlog was too long...almost 40 minutes iirc. So I broke it into 2 vlogs. However...the whole thing is available on my patreon! #plug lol. $1 a month!

Hi Jaman - In a 1/3 game I often see players raising 4-5x the big blind. But in your 5/10 game the raises are only 2-3x. Why is that? I wouldn't think that amount would get anyone out preflop. Great job on the videos btw, you definitely put more effort into it than most other poker vloggers.
In 1/3 you HAVE TO play larger pots in relation to the rake to even have a chance of beating it. The rake is much smaller, comparatively as you move up in stakes which allows for more reasonable opening sizes. Plus most 1/3 players aren't studied, they don't have any real reason for the sizes they use besides "it's what everyone else uses"
That makes sense. I really hadn't thought about the rake, I just think I need to raise big or that guy with Q3 suited is going to call for less and flop two pair. Thanks.
I used to LOVE going to the Casino rite after Bar Close and I would be rested and Sober as a Goffer. Now I have to drive 1.5 hours north or south to play. Dam I wish my local room would come back. But those early morning sessions can be pretty good as well.

How many hours should I be playing? I'm killing the game, but I just double my money and go home. That usually takes 1 to 3 hours most the time. I'm trying to be a professional poker player..... When I go home I study for at least 2 hours everyday.
it depends, just play as long as the game is good, it doesn't matter if you "double" your money or not. It's all just 1 big long session. There really is no end besides what we arbitrarily put in the middle of it so we can leave the game and go do other stuff. So you can play 3000 sessions of 2 hours each, or 1 big long 6000 hour session...same thing
But what happened on the 9-3 hand with all the straddles? I presume you invoked the Meta, re-raised all the straddles, and pulled off a flush on the river to win a big pot. Right?...Right???
