I’m new to marketing. I’m not a professional, just helping a family business. So far we’ve done well just from about 6 months of FB marketing and word of mouth.
My dad made a company about a year ago , but he’s gotten jobs based on recommendations only/ no online presence . Works been slowing down but I don’t want him to give up on his dream . Hopefully I can help him market and grow his business more.
He shouldn't give up Its really easy to build an online presence. I am a carpenter in the UK I created a website on WIX, bought a domain for £1, set up an Instagram account and started posting. I started with just follow for follow but after getting better at making decent content for the page I got up to a few thousand followers, I boost the posts so customers in my area see them and I run Google adds also to get my website more views and because I am only looking for local intrest the ads are very cheap. He will do well its just leaning new things and adapting
@@kennlittlejohn6318 I’d recommend looking into posting social media content that builds the value of your service, trust that you can get the job done and build a relationship with your audience. And adding high value ads to this formula will change your life. I show how to do this on YT, Insta, and TikTok if you wanted a place to start learning. Good luck man ✊🏾
I work in Marketing for a Construction Business and a Religious Non Profit Organization. The value of this video and the information given helps to market BOTH! Thanks sir
The Door hanger Print ad is great idea! thank you. I never thought of that! I'm a Locksmith so I'm get some made that say "Is your key sticky?" "is your lock hard to open?" "Need better security?" We are in your area, give us a call....etc.
This is amazing! Currently doing marketing for a construction company, and all your don'ts is what we do 😅 , Especially the fact that we live in 2022 now! So it's very refreshing and needed. Literally taking notes! Thank you!
Hello Mike, That's a great video!! I own a engineering business and I spent the last couple of days looking for a good marketing strategies for my type of business and none of them convinced me, this is the best video I found and helped me start my marketing strategy to take my business to the next level. Thanks mate!
Hey bro wishing you the best of luck in growing your business which judging by your dedication you should reach success in no time also wanted to ask what kind of engineering do you specialize in ?
My dad has had a construction business for longer then I’ve been alive and I know that he makes a stable income of around 6 figures a year but he has always gotten clients based off of recommendations and doesn’t have any advertising. As he’s getting older I’m starting to realize that he’s not going to be able to do this forever as it’s a very physical job. I know that my parents will be able to have a comfortable life even after he retires but I would just feel so much more comfortable if he had a passive income after he retires. What I’m really trying to say is that I want him to become a business owner and not a business operator and I’m struggling trying to do so

First of all thank you for this three powerful tips Brother. Secondly, i just want have your thoughts about a construction company I just created last year 2023. After watching this video, you said to be specific on the type of service or product you provided or produced on each marketing strategy and this brings me to my question. My company is a Construction company which has the name construction on it but the type of services we wanted to provide is broad. here is a few services my company provides; 1. waste management control, 2. building & maintenence, 3.general cleaning & beautification, 4.concrete works, 5.street lights installation, 6.road paintings & markings etc... with my company's nature and broadness in services, what is the best way to market my company's services using this THREE TIPS?
So what if your selling a luxury product? For example fine finish painting. I find it tough to use a “problem” to sell on being the solution. We are more of a want than a need.
I have 1 year experience of selling software and was thinking of helping my dad’s home renovation business (tiling, flooring, painting, masonry). In order to sell these services do I need to have experience myself working in the construction business?
Hey just went into business with my brothers all as sole proprietorship to do windows and door installs, we wanna hire people, what’s the structure of what I need to do it all legally , Canadian “ON What sort of registration do I need , ideally the people we hire are more or less already qualified installers, it’s much less of an apprenticeship.
I don’t think print works as effectively as other methods mostly because of the lack of targeting and analytics. You don’t know who sees it or how often like you can get from digital advertising.

I've been a contractor since 2005 and don't have Facebook. In fact, Facebook is such a waste of time. Paying ads on there is a loss. Facebook is for cheap customers. DON'T do print ads! Don't do junk mail. Door hangers you Might get a 1% return on. Want a lead Now? Use a pay per lead service. There's no work involved in marketing. You pay a said price and get a result. Not pay, and Hope to get a return.
This is why you run a “conversions” campaign on Facebook ads. That’s the whole point of understanding what campaign you are using. Some people are “boosting” or using random campaigns and don’t know how to actually use Facebook ads. There’s multiple campaigns to run. All you explained is a conversion campaign lol
