@@rillaaa5740 You're very welcome my friend. In that case you can animate the points of the shape of your mask. To do it, just go to a frame other than zero and move the points of your mask using "Transform points" tool. Just like what I do in 3:12, I'm moving the points of my mask.
This video is great!!! Very detailed explanation of masks!!! Have you ever tried to use a mask with a gradient shape ? For me it’s not showing the gradient shape on the mainline or when it’s export for animation.
Thanks for your kind words my friend ❤ I think in your message by "mainline" you mean: "workspace" and by "export", you mean "render" Yes I've tried to use gradient for the masks and it works fine without any problem. When you use gradient for a mask, in Moho 12, 13.5 and 14, you can see the mask correctly in your workspace and in your render, But In Moho 12 and 13.5, when you play your animation, instead of the colors of the gradient of your mask, you'll see the fill of your shapes. However, in Moho 14 this problem is solved and the gradient of the masks are shown correctly even when we play the animation. I'm not sure, but I think maybe you mean: when we use a gradient for the mask, the more a color is closer to black, the more it should be faded? like photoshop?! Is that what you want to do?
@@modelmananimation I apologize for the wrong terminology. My character’s hair is a gradient of black where it fades on the side. I’m using 13.5 version the gradient does show on the actions of smart bone dial but not on the preview when playing the animation…so yes you’re right it shows the fill of the solid (the character’s head). Mask setup: Head folder - hide all/mask this layer Hair - mask this layer Eyebrows - add to mask Nose - add to mask
@@dropping.g3mz In Moho 13.5 and earlier versions, most of the effects can't be seen in real time and when you play your animations, however, the problem is fixed in Moho 14!
