honestly anything good in sling for ult part from marksman and snipers even p20 is decent. his tac also shows the symbol on real mirage if it hits him before he ults and you can see through bushes and bang smoke with the symbol. thanks a lot for the guide :)
One tip I have is to really look at the weapons you're good with and consider those for your sling options. Gold R-301 or Nemesis SHREDS through people when initiating an engagement.

I've been a mirage main for ages, but since ballistic has come out i've been slowly putting mirage as my no.2. i think my biggest flaw when playing ballistic is pushing when i ult. his ult activation kind of hypes you up and makes you do the silly thing by pushing when you shouldn't. these tips are really good, i didn't think about aiming up for his Q, that's a great idea. i do find myself preferring to use the volt for his ult because of that reload speed, it's just crazy fast. great video!
I struggle sometimes too making the wrong choices and playing TOO agro when I don't have escape/movement abilities to get me out! I recommend focusing more on your positing being smart but aggressive, this playstyle suitd Ballistic the best!
I was playing apex from Season 1 and left during season 4 came back and played every legend and started using ballistic and using R301 and longbow or sentinel as my main and use a shotgun for sling weapon.Its pretty good for long and short range fights.

I always put the first weapon I pick up on sling so that it has all gray attachments off the start also with the new upgrades ballistics sling weapon is the same rarity as his armour so if you have blue armour and no attachments put your best weapon in sling for auto blue attachments
Am i the only one who feels that Ballistics whistler tactical is terrible. The enemy always one clips me before it activates or does anything. I see it only usefull to support teammates from a far or block entry ways.
I've always said it's not as OP and as amazing as people think. If you learn out to get the most out of it, it can be useful, but yeah it is definitely underwhelming a lot of the time!

i came here out of curiosity. felt happy im using this legend right. my 3rd weapons are RE45, r99, rampage, spitfire, eva8. i should try havoc good tip on shooting smart bullet into air after locking. i always waste shooting enemies behind cover
Ballistic buff idea: How about his sling weapon increases rarity depending on a specific item, like a backpack or a knockdown shield. For example if he has a blue backpack, his sling weapon turn blue as well.
lowkey didn't even think about that. I don't use my third weapon outside of comboing it with my ULT but lowkey if I did use it outside my ult, a wingman is a W pick!
I don’t understand not using the third weapon outside of ult. U have 50% more uptime in fights because of passive I’d think it’d come in handy in 1v2 situations
It's more to not build bad habits. You are the only legend that has 3 guns. It can be quiet easy to get into bad habits, be okay missing a lot of bullets because you can crutch the third gun. It's better (imo) to use the third slot with a weapon that gives you an advantage when comboed with your ult. I get your point and each to their own, I just know if I start allowing myself 3 weapons for a fight I will struggle eventually to break that habit and could see a decline in my mechanics. Hope that makes sense!
why did you say that ballistic ultimate increases the fire rate @ 2:08 that is the first time I have ever heard of that and do not think it is correct.

I ge where you are coming from but it is his main and best quality of a character! I don't use the sling at all unless im in my ULT. My ULT and Sling go hand in hand. I would recommend starting to pick up third guns and using them with your ult because you are really missing out a big and amazing part about being a Ballistic main!
