New 15 pro and signed up the photo class at Apple Store, it got canceled. Then I found this video and it was awesome! One of the best deliveries I’ve ever seen on a tutorial. Thanks, I learned a ton!
I’ve just got an iPhone 15 pro and can’t thank you enough for this video on the camera settings! I haven’t embraced taking videos yet but am happy with the camera for now! Thank you, thank you!
Not sure if i'm doing something wrong but swiping to the right does not open the camera settings. Swiping the shutterbutton to the left does not activate burst photos.
Super detailed and thorough. Love this. Saving for reference at a later time as I’m trying to maximize my iPhone camera to the fullest extent. Thank you!!!!! This was awesome and very informative ❤
I'm having a serious issue with my 15 pro camara. The pictures on the front camara look amazing before I click to take them as soon as I see them in my gallery they look dark , grainy , grey and not like how they did before the camara was snapped. What camara settings should I able and disable to fix this
Great class! Thank you for taking the time to help make the bridge from Android to Apple. Some unsolicited advice… I wanted to simply give you a heads up that camera apps and lens’ these days (especially on iPhones) are so good that when you have your finger, with the pad toward the camera, we can fairly easily take snaps of your prints and then recreate them using a 3D printer. Obviously Apple is making a move away from fingerprint sensors, partly due to issues such as this (i.e. lack of security when its function is access control). I’ve started to try and remember to bend my finger at the last knuckle (then use that knuckle to point things out) so that the fingerprint remains unseen. Again, thanks for the video!
Excellent explanations. Thank you. I cannot find an explanation to getting the moon duplicated in one shot. This happened this past full moon in August. It was sunrise, moonset. At night the same thing happens. It's very frustrating. I get 2 moons, one fake, just a lit up ball, the other the moon in all its beauty. The lit up ball takes up the correct location for the moon, the moon as we can see in the distance is displaced in the photo. Can you explain? I cannot paste the photos here for illustration.
My biggest concern with the new IPhone 15 Pro camera is that it doesn’t capture the color accurately to dim lighting. There’s one coffee shop that I visited that has a dim kinda yellowish or sepia hue lighting. I really wanted to capture the ambiance of the place. The problem is the camera automatically brightens the color as if the lighting is white and not yellowish old school style.
I love my Magbak case. I've been using it on my last 3 phones. You forgot to mention that the wallet can be used as a stand in both the portrait or landscape positions.
iphone having the buttons up top for flash and night time mode only turning auto or off and not just on or off is my least favorite feature. i hate having to press the arrow, then select the flash just to turn it on, same with night time mode to adjust the length.
So what you can do is turn on in settings that will retain camera app settings each time you open the app. Then turn the flash off once. It will never come on again until you want it to. I never use the flash so mine is perpetually turned off.
I’m having big problems with my 15 pro max always being out of focus. The front “selfie” camera is fine but the main camera is atrocious and I cannot seem to fix it. Has anyone else found solutions for this? Thanks in advance
Hey, lighroom editing is super important to me and I enjoy background blur. Can I still use the post photo capture portrait feature AND capture in Heif or RAW ?
It doesn’t seem you can. When I toggle off HEIF, the f on bottom camera corners reappears. If I toggle HEIF to On, I lose the button option from the screen.
Does anyone know how to stop the camera from auto adjusting light? Like i wanted to take photos in a yellow light room but the light is adjusted every time
I find a focal point with a light or dark area depending on exposure you want, then hold on that area which enables Focus and Exposure lock. (AE/AF lock) which I find useful to preset and area for multiple shots giving the same exposure (like indoors where light doesn’t change)
Saturation is an issue within camera processing. I would suggest tapping and holding on where you want to focus and lock in focus and then just slide up or down to adjust exposure. That can somewhat fix the issue. If your skin is over saturated, I would recommend sliding up a bit after you’re locked in to increase exposure.
I came here for one thing, to see how you manually adjust focus. I don’t mean by one touch tapping, I mean by manually sliding and adjusting focus. Is that not possible?
Hello, when I set my camera settings like this, will my storage space fill up very quickly? I am an average user and I take photos and videos for social media.
No, it shouldn't. The only setting that takes up more space is if you shoot in ProRes or RAW. Those file formats take up a bunch more space. For your average person, shooting in HEIF like this will be good
Good video, I just feel that if you were going to talk about cameras you should have used the 15 pro max since the telephoto is 5x and in the 15 pro it is only 3x. Showcasing the best that apple has to offer.
@@KAMGOSEN No problem! There is a lot of overlap but I go into the 5X lens more on that one and this one includes Spatial Video since it launched after I did that last video. I try to do model-specific videos so people can find the right guide for the phone they have, even if it is more work for me!
