@8:00 "you have to remain 5cm off the white line..." Yeah, this is what an F1 driver is all about. Coming in to that corner at speeds that would make me blackout (even in a road car), and you're measuring centimetres to avoid a sliver of paint because it's a bit damp... It's at this point I'd like to give a shout out to the guys at the back of the grid - they might not be winning races, but they are still doing the same thing in a car that they can't even trust. Hats off to those drivers - hopefully soon, someone will give George Russell a good car soon !

Apart from the fact I live in Montreal, the history behind the track, the numerous grand prix it had held over the years, the people who have won there, it's all stuff of legends, not to forget the unforgiving wall of champions, and those mean straights, you win at Gilles Villeneuve, you are a world champion in the making!

My favourite track is Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. It was my first and only F1 race, and it also came just after the birth of my first child. It was 2011 and one of the best races ever, especially since I was a Button fan. I couldn't believe the sound of hte V8 engines, we could hear them from miles away from the track, and trackside they would shake your body. My father in law and I sat out in the rain forever waiting for the restart and were rewarded with an amazing finish, especially since we were sitting at the Turn 6 stands and went crazy when Vettel half spun with Button chasing him. It was so excited I watched the race again at home.

It isn’t always easy to overtake there but the races are always very exciting due to the walls sometimes coming a bit to close, that combined with the heigh temperatures makes the race really demanding for the drivers, something that we all want to see!

Great question and not an easy anwser. If I had to pick one I’d have to say Monaco. I love the tight fast cornering and the walls feeling like your driving in a construction zone at 200. The track also has a level of class that is second to none. When I think of F1 I think of the best in the world, the elite, and that’s what Monaco is known for and exudes. Monaco and F1 go hand in hand for me. Where else are you going to have an entire marina of super yachts watching cars flying by? But the most importantly is it’s one of the most challenging and I love that. Side note I love the videos Nico. I don’t follow much on RU-vid but these track walkthroughs are pure gold. Keep it up man!!

My favourite F1 track is Albert Park, I live in Melbourne so it’s biased but I go every year, the build up of another season is exciting, turn 11-12 (back chicane) is insane to watch these modern f1 cars too! Also it’s always the first track I drive on the new F1 games! Also in 2016 when you had a little crash in the wet and stopped the car on the inside of turn 13, you got out and I gave you a thumb up and you waved back instead of just storming off so that was cool 👍🏼

Singapore, because I love street circuits and if you get the flow it’s beautiful feeling, especially sector three in the slow section and there‘s a long straight in sector 1, where you can overtake. And don’t forget the part from Singapore sling to the hairpin is really nice

Definitively SPA. Cause I live 50 km from Francorchamps 🤩 . I was lucky to race on the "tobbogan" in the past (funcup). Amazing impression. And when I was driving I really felt to realize my kid's dream. The eyes in the sky at the top of the raidillon and just floating during the decompression. Just a dream. Blanchimont, the blind curve at full is very impressive too. Dream, but danger all along of course. And the rain, ready to change the game.

What is inevitable? Time passes by to all of us. he is a racing driver. Winning or not winning, racing is all about competing and giving it all. I respect his decision, it is his life, but in a way is crazy that a guy of this talent and resources ends up posting videos and commenting in YT.

Because he wanted to focus on his family and other interests and aspirations??? You don't control his life. He's not a jester for your personal entertainment. Let him live off his personal life choices. Only he knows what's best for him.
