@@Phnx-ps4kd No, its hard to use, the moves are buggy (Counter does not work) and slow (Is very hard hit the enemy with Whiriling Steel Ball). Actually, All the specs are better than spin (I mean ALL specs, even vamp that hasn't received a rework yet)
I've already mastered spin under 2 hours before watching this video, the exact day when the rework was released. I kept using TA3 with it, and it was an amazing experience the fact that even if they barrage you, you can tank the damage with Golden Skin and after they finish their barrage, you can land a counter and probably use Tea Time to restore back that missing health that just got deleted. (The reason why I chose TA3 was because TA3 has 5 nail shots and TA4 only has 3 nail shots).
@@anxyzz I could use Act 1 probably. I know Tusk Act 1 has the Focused Nail Shot which does stun instead of ragdolling the opponent allowing you to land moves like Twirling Spin Punch, but you can do the same thing with Tusk Acts 2-4 too. Tusk Acts 2-4's Rectangle Nail Shot ragdolls the opponent but adds no s meaning that you can run up behind them and land a Twirling Spin Punch, you can test it out if you want but it is escapable by simply dashing. I usually use a combo like X + T + C (Spin Punch) + C (Wormhole Uppercut) that surprisingly does half of their hp.
every time a new moveset for anything in yba comes out i noticed i tend to always justt use all of the moves cluelessly as i try figuring everything out and end up completely forgetting to m1. so another tip for people in case they are smooth brained like me, NEVER FORGET TO M1 ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF FIGHTING AND ITS HOW YOU TEND TO DO A LOT OF YOUR DAMAGE WITH OR WITHOUT COMBOING 💯
Use Whirling Steel Ball after ragdoll. The hitbox can also expand if the attack missed which is a pretty helpful tip too. Whirling Steel Ball needs to stay connected to any type of surface meaning it can slide up walls which could be useful in some situations such as Crazy Diamond’s wall.
quick tip: you can aim your ballz at opponents knees(or a little bit higher) so they will ricochet of ground and come back faster making your combos more true like dbs-sb-tsp deals half of health
Spin punch also confirms thwirling steel ball Edit; If you are in a 1v1 and used steel ball before on your opponent and if he blocked it before then i recomend using thwirling steel ball after a steel ball throw since block break.
Ngl, considering u need so many skill points for the charge and dmg increase, from my experience its often not even necessary if you have good dp. Not to mention the fact that ur moves already do excellent smg to begin with. Imo those extra points to get stuff like extra vitality or regen helps a lot against timestop bullshit
Cool thing you can do with Sticky Fingers + Spin, Extend Arm + Twisting Spin Punch (if block broken: Double Steel Balls + Steel Ball + Whirling Steel Ball) if not block broken its free big damage.
golden spin upgrades are really not worth getting. they're expensive, and the only boost you get is 0.5 dmg per upgrade. i usually dont even charge up spin, as it could get you punished as well.
2 stands hermit purple and stf im pretty sure that the first sb guard breaks idk if pb but in either u can just do sb dsb then other move i haven't rlly tried it yet this is purely speculation but if u can pls tell me if first sb cant be pb im still tryna get hermit so i cant try with stf yet
@@chewchewchocobar1300 I don’t think sptw is good with spin as there is only like one combo to do with it and there is little to no combo potential I think boxing is a way better choice for sptw I’ve used sptw spin and the combo was spin ball double spin ball into bd but I think there is a better combo with the spin punch (excluding timestop combos as those are just op in general no matter the spec)
havent watch the full video yet how to use spin after u use counter use ts spam m1 and ora kicks or knifes boom you won if they arent dead just spam your moves
That's one way to use it for sure, you can do a one shot combo with it like that but I was generally focusing on how to use all the moves with other stands and not just TS ones
Good vid except for you using terms DSB, SB , Ect. I can't memorize every spin move and Thier shortened counterparts in 4 seconds while reading 2 sentences on screen. Edit: watched the whole vid again and still didn't catch half of what ur saying.
I couldn't find enough keys on my keyboard to charge spin, and I hate charging because it means you have to stop pressuring your opponent So i just didnt get any charge upgrades, and it was 16 skill points in total. I think thats the best because it still does pretty high damage for combos off of blockbreak agagahagh oggogohgo
Honestly if they didn't make it so you can overlap spec + stand keys making it so the spec takes priority when you hold out the item I probably wouldn't be able to have enough keys either
Here's my wild keybinds for Spin: Steel Ball = V Double Steel Ball = B Twirling Spin Punch = C Golden Skin = N Spin Reflex = X or M Whirling Steel Ball = U
first guy said to you "hacker (exploiter, cheater)" what actually not true, so no wonder, it's russian player. Most of they annoying really. They writing in chat no sence russians words sometimes
He said gg because if a tusk lands a beatdown and you dont reset it kicks you out of the game Do not only did he ask if you were a cheater, he was bug abusing himself lol
The one time I did die was resetting against the tusk because it would disconnect me otherwise, (edit: and I think maybe the 300 ping kcr mirror match) and I don't use some of them because it's footage from like 30 minutes after the rework released.
I mean obviously, most 1v1s aren't great players so it's not like I'm gonna go out of my way for 4 hours just to find good players just for the background of a video
@@chewchewchocobar1300 yeah but it kinda ruins the whole showcasing of something "op" i could go into 1s with any stand and make it look godlike with the average player
@@Random-ek2dc The point of the video wasn't to showcase it being OP, it was to show some interesting gameplay of the spec and to give some tips on how to use it in actual 1v1s. It doesn't ruin or really change anything in the video and I don't see why I should go through the extra effort of going into 1v1s to find amazing players.
