super important question, how did u get on worlds edge alone, ive been searching online and i cant find anything, private matches cant be started unless there is 30 people in my lobby, i've realised that it says something about modded apex, does that have to do something with u being on the map alone, anyhow, such a great tutorial, i learned so much from this
Back then in season 0-3, u can stack kills easily with good aim alone. But now movement is a must to dominate in combat. Learning all these advanced techs to relive the ol days
I just recently switched to kbm a week ago and Zipline tech was the only thing I couldn't do on controller. This video lowkey motivated me to practice and I finally was able to super/mantle jump. I know I have a lot to learn but Im very happy I was able to do it.
Not sure if this has been mentioned for the mantle jump, but if you're going up a zipline, you could just hold W only and press the crouch button to get off the zip to start the mantle (instead of having crouch and W while going up zip). It does help by not having to worry about having to use the jump to get off the zipline. I did notice that you have to get off the zipline slightly later since you're crouching off the zip. Idk it worked for me, maybe it'll help some other people too :)
4:25 When you go off the zipline are you using your mouse to turn (while still on the zipline) or is the scroll up supposed to entirely change your direction after you delatch from it? If I scrollwheeldown it just launches me in the direction I was looking regardless of the scroll up I do.
high quality vid, will def be using this as my "zip movement 101 textbook" whenever i need to work on fundamentals (idk why i wasn't subscribed yet 🗿🗿) really good stuff, keep it up!
At 16:27 are you redirecting after superjumping to get to the lower door or aiming towards that ledge when you exit the superjump, asking as a console player.
4:25 how do you get so much Momentum when you tap strafe after the super jump?? I'm always stopping right on the Exit Sign at the end of the Zipline or on the Zipline in the Air...
I feel like this game is becoming Fortnite slowly all these complicated stuff that take up way to much time to learn is what makes these games not fun and unplayable
@@ha3xun229 the fact you assume I can't do most of these stuff is funny I can mantle jump super glide backwards super jump zip tech etc I just don't got time to keep learning shit every week because I got a life bozo
Curious what sense/DPI you use? I find myself struggling on the elite jump. I've managed to understand the timing of inputs but I think because I'm on 400 DPI and 1.5 sense, the 180 is a struggle which makes it difficult to do in streamer building and other places 😭 Gonna keep trying
@@eskyja gotchaaa. I still can’t tel it it’s my sense or I’m just doing it wrong but when I practice with a pathfinder ult instead of the building zip, I find myself doing the elite jump but going diagonally backwards, which is why I think it isn’t working in the building. On the bright side, I’ve managed to consistently do the mantle jump in multiple buildings and even implement it after watching your video! Such a sick movement tech.
Bro it’s impossible and it’s gate kept so hard for no reason. EA really only lets streamers/partners have the codes to go into a solo / private lobby. Honestly they should just add two similar buildings to the range I don’t get it, kinda frustrating.
@@FearWarboar4135 no thats completely wrong, he uses something called r5 reloaded. You can easily access it looking up a guide on youtube if you're on pc. This is what most movement players use to practice/learn new mechanics
@@fhoolish7195 I’m familiar with r5 reloaded I know JayTheYggdrisil and Treeree and other players use it. However content creators have also had access to codes that give them “tournament” lobbies they have solo access to, like literally inside Apex.
I feel like most of these are not intended. I don't fault players for using and abusing these techniques, as it increases the skill cap of the game and makes it more fun if you are able to pull it off, but in a fight when you're chasing someone low on hp, and they go up a zipline and .5 seconds later they super jumped 50 meters away, it's not very fun as the trailing party.
holy shit bro, i got in a game against u w my mate and u dominated us and we watched u till the end and u won, was crazy to see, was just researching this and recognized ur name, props man!
I cant figure this out. It either launches me down or straight up I cant get it to move forward and up. not a single time. its the only technique I cant do and its making me pull my hair out because I obviously dont understand something
it didn’t work for me for a long time, but it was after your clarifications that everything worked, thanks, the chance of a correct mental jump increased to 85%
