I ground Vanguardian on U8 and got about 1 C1 every 10 dungeons, but my Ice was netting 1 for 3 with about 800 more mf

From what I heard it does affect the amount of crystal drops, so technically it gives you a bigger chance at getting c3 but the type of crystal you get is still purely rng. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
