Excellent demonstration. No talking. Straight to the point. Your input voltage must be 5 V. The led requires about 3 V no matter what resistor is in series connection.

Very good point. Physicist should not be as talkative as politics. Also very true in the lab. For example, Feymann is too wordy in his lecture. So talkative that he had no idea his QED is wrong.

What’s the voltage you’re using to power the led? Judging by the Ma you can prolly go as low as 100ohm resistor right? But I know you were just doing samples to teach.

such small leds usually take about 20-30mA, how is it that yours takes about 10 times less?

That is because there is a 1kΩ resistor in between. The larger the resistance value, the smaller the current.

He is showing how to use ohm's law. With different values of resistors the current will be different. If the viewer know the basics, he will surely abuse the maker of this video. Do not mind, anyway.
