Good. I have so much overthinking going on when interacting with women. Their response is usually interpreted as cold/uninterested/indifference or whatever. After doing this a bunch of times I am now struggling to be genuinely interested in them overall. I want to break this cycle but I find it hard sometimes because after having these indifferent/cold responses from women a lot of times I find many (ok not all) women cold so because of that, I am just not interested in their personalities if they are oftentimes showing this cold side... I am working on it, but it's pretty tough

Bars and clubs, eh? Perfect. I was wondering if this could be a sign that a woman is interested in me. She used to work at the bakery I go to a lot, and we chatted and connected so many times. Heck, about a year ago, while I was working on my laptop, I saw her lift her head up in thought, before turning to me and saying, "How was your summer?" It was kind of random, but I appreciated her interest. On her last day (Jan 2023), she said my coffee was on her. One day, I ran into her at the bar. We chatted, and I said something about her bravely coming out of her shell better than me because of her singing karaoke during her first time here. Not long after, when she and her friends were singing again, she gestured me toward them and pointed to the lyrics on the screen. What's funny is I had told her I didn't like being in the spotlight during the said "out of shell" conversation. Not to criticize her encouragement. Just saying it's interesting and I'm wondering about her motive, perspective, and if it could've meant something. But perhaps not. I'm starting to wonder if she has a boyfriend. I saw her last night at a different bar. I pretended I didn't see her in the dancing crowd, she noticed me (I think after I accidentally bumped into her), put her hand on my arm to get my attention, and said hi. It was a very brief talk, given the dancing and loudness. So of course, I did not ask for her number or to be my date at this swing dance next month (I was considering doing so if I ran into her again). But it's not just that. She was with a group of friends, and one of them was a guy she talked with. He _could_ have been her boyfriend. What would be the signs (aside from kissing, obviously). I'm curious about the connection (or contradiction) between the potential "she-likes-me" signs and the idea of her having a boyfriend. Does that make sense, what I'm asking?

It's painful realization that I'm that creepy guy, but will do everything to be the other more social guy. Thanks for the tips!💪

I wish I watched this the other day.. Went to an event on Saturday and got rejected by all the women I walked up to. I'm also not the best looking guy on account of my height mainly so that didn't help, but knowing these ways to approach would certainly help a bit.

You make a lot of very good point but some of them are a bit obsolete feeling considering 20% of my generation (GenZ) considers simply approaching a woman as harassment. So I feel like anything could just be seen as creepy or weird including the very act of approaching them in the first place. So my fears are much less rooted in rejection but being seen as a creep and being falsely exploited as one, which happens all the time. But these are very helpful. I hope I can make it work

Approaching a girl at bar or club is NOT the best idea you need to bare in mind that no matter how cute and innocent they may look about 98% of girls who go to bars and clubs are taken and that is a FACT

Trickery has short legs

This infantilizes women by making them the passive recipient waiting for men to do everything. Mature women are comfortable with approaching and flirting with men and making their interest clear as well

who is the one able to hear/talk at a bar. They are fucking loud

Easier way to approach a girl? Don't ! Who cares?
