I remember watching this when I had to memorize my slide show in front of the whole class and I didn’t want to use notes and we nailed it thanks to you 😁
I have to memorize a speech tomoro, and i always memorize it perFECTLy, but when its mu turn to speak i start to shake and freak out and i forget everything and mess up
Visualize yourself delivering your speech and feeling totally relaxed and calm. Imagine standing in front of your audience and being completely confident as you deliver your speech. If you do that enough times it'll make a huge difference. After tomorrow's speech, keep practicing and try going to Toastmasters - they're awesome!
I have to memorize my whole speech for my upcoming debate competition. I need to be the best debater and I hate to lose, I never lose before. This competition is different from all of the competitions I have been before coz something is everyone is depending on me. And what's more making me nervous is that, this is going to be broadcast live. And Oh My Gosh! Thank you
I need to deliver an extemporaneous speech and I ask my teacher about it, she said I need to bring her my speech paper and need to tell what exactly is written in there, WORD BY WORD, no ad-libs, no changing words, it was total hell.
I have to memorize a speech tomorrow and i have to recite it infront of my whole class and its worth 200 points. Wish me luck… Ill give u an update but yall might have to comment on this so i remember-
@@ayoneyuu3514 I got so nervous and my anxiety went way up when I was in front of the class that I ended up messing up a couple times.. If I wasn't nervous or anxious then I'd probably wouldn't have messed up at all but since I was, I got an 80% on it-
@@Stareyiiiyou did good though for your first time, especially since you had anxiety about it which i can understand, + an 80% is a good grade so good job, you deserve to feel proud of yourself because not many people can do that, especially when feeling so anxious
I have a speech tomorrow and I would be just fine but we can’t use notes and we have to read it without looking at anything, and I can’t remember a single word
It shows on how you can deliver the speech well and it says that memorizing the speech is not the only thing that will make out of it , it says that delivering the speech is also a matter so that you don't sound like unprofessional .
I love this technique. It has helped me to loosen up and be more spontaneous. I just ran through my speech and the delivery was so much better than when I tried to remember the words. The images are so freeing!
The thing that’s annoying is that I have to give a speech in a foreign language and so they want us to memorize a script word for word and sound robotic because they don’t care about the content just that you’re speaking without errors :( it’s super annoying
@@twothousandandone4270 it was decent! Unfortunately my fear of public speaking made my presenting not the best but I did remember everything I needed to know! Still waiting on the score though. I mainly used the method where you memorize the first line, go on to the second, repeat the first and second line, etc. it worked well!
i have to memorize a 1,000 word speech in less than 1 day with quotes that i cant mess up :=) my teacher WILL know that i messed up on things because she has the typed out speech too
Thanks this helped me memorise my speech! The only thing I'm worried about is when I actually get up in front of everyone. I'm fine during practice but when I say it, I forget everything and start to shake. This happens every time I speak in front of a group. 😕
You're not alone Michelle, that's a very common experience, believe me! When you practice, try to visualize the audience in front of you and feel yourself being completely confident and relaxed. Practice doing that over and over and you'll convince your mind you've actually done it before. You've got this!
You can do it. I feel the same. I stutter too which makes everything worse. But do you know why people get nervous? Beacuse you are afraid to be judged. That's what my mom told me, if you did it in front of someone you love, you wouldn't be that nervous.
I have a presentation tomorrow in front of the class, it’s nothing to big, it’s about Canadian prime ministers. I love my class so I’m not as worried, and my class doesn’t really care about what I say, they all boost my confidence.
Upon watching the videos, it made me realize that public speaking is quite hard but maybe… it will be somewhat easy in memorized speech. The advices I have watched were great. It was quick and simply. When the time comes, maybe I can apply it too.
@@daviation9779 I was able to memorize about 500 words that were performed in a very sloppy manner before having to pull out my trustly script and ruining the entire flow and performance. How I was still able to pull off an A is beyond my comprehension
After watching those videos, I've learned 3 Steps for an effective delivery of memorized speech: first, choose a great content with good structure where your audience can easily relate to. Then, memorize the outline of important key points instead of word for word to avoid being lost once you forget your line. With this, you'll be able to have the confidence on what you have to say next. You can also use repetition of words. Lastly, practice and rehearse your speech, by giving focus on your vocal cues, eye contact, body movements etc.
hlo mee too in few hours i should give speech about korean language i dont know meaning for some words but i am watching videos🤦🏻♀️i think these video helpfull
@@alexandersonmei it’s tmrw but my speech is only 2 pages so it was pretty easy to memorize! I’m more afraid of actually having to speak than forgetting my speech
I am going to class 6th and it will be offline and we did 2 years online so i have to speak a 2 page speech on self disipline and affects of online class and we have to send it today evening wish me best of luck
I have to present a speech in 2 hours. I have to record a video. It will be send in school group (because of covid-19). I'm scared 😨😭 Sorry for my english
This is such a huge help!!! In just a couple days I have to give a speech to 3 schools on dental hygiene. These tips are just what I needed. Fingers crossed !
I observed that for you to be able to deliver your memorized speech clearly and properly you must be confident, the message and the way you deliver your speech makes your speech great. In the two video that is delivering their speech, I observed that they have an eye contact to their listeners (viewers) and they make hand gestures. Also, they are confident delivering it.
