damn it sony :( i was just about to get back into smite and was trying to link my ps4 to pc, and nothing has been happening. And then I see that it's because of sony not allowing it :(
**Please note that you cannot link your PS4 to PC yet. Sony has not approved it for SMITE, and not sure when they will unfortunately.** Even as of 2022
so i played on xbox and have a ton of skins and purchased items and i linked it to my ps4 and i have nothing no gods, no skins. is that only because its ps4?
It said it’s link, but it keep connecting to my steam account, but not my ps4 account? When I unlink my steam acc, and I went to smite, it said” our username and password, do I put my ps4 username? When I do it doesn’t work? please help!!
So IF Sony ever lets us players do Cross Progression... Imma save this video in my history. Been reading the comments about Sony not allowing us players to have Cross Progression. I'm hoping they do allow this before they turn off any Internet Stuff for PS4.. Which is bound to happen cus they did that with PS3.
Ive tried linking again, and again, and again, for 4 months straight multiple tickets for support and not a damn thing, im maxed out on my console and got all my skins and ranks and gods on my xbox, the video helped but for some reason it linked everything together, and still hasn’t actually made the account switch, it makes little sense to me how to actually transfer it all over after doing all the steps correctly and having to wait on Low-Rez for a reply that most likely wont even help me
Bro I have the same problem, I always get the "Something went wrong. Please try again." message it's infuriating. Still a haven't been able to link my xbox account to my steam account
@@criscalvin2261 I had the same issue but just figured it out, creating a smite profile on my steam account automatically linked it to the steam login in the hi rez site, I unlinked it and logged into my main account (linked to Xbox) and connected Steam easily, now my account switched over
I currently have an Xbox account level 89 without limited skins, but my PC account has limited skins… can I merge them together to have the limited skins on Xbox as well?? Both accounts are under different emails

Yeah it says that when it has already been linked somewhere, must be to an old account, would suggest submitting a support ticket. You can't merge skins from Xbox to PS4. Sony isn't allowing cross progression on Smite still
Thanks for the info but my skin etc never transferred unless I bought them with gems I filled out a ticket though so hopefully it'll all workout keep up the great content btw
@@scottcampbelljr9512 something that I think happens is if you got those gods from like a xbox promo, they won't transfer. But you could send a support ticket to double check why you don't have them
yeah same for me, i just linked mine a week or so ago and none of my skins transferred :( :( :( i didnt buy any w gems but still had quite a few from using favors
Can you help me! It made me make a new smite account when u signed into my switch. So now every time I reinstall smite to try and use my old account it keeps bringing the new account which doesn't have any of my gods or skins
Had it installed on Xbox. Then installed it on comp. Account worked from box to comp, though after I played a session on comp and got new achs, these didn't show in any app that shows gotten achs immediately. I think I'll pass this one because of this and just play it on the box.
I highly doubt anyone knows but any idea if Sony is gonna accept cross play anytime soon? because I have 5000 hours on ps4 and whish I could merge accounts to my pc
@@KittenOfDoom Keep hammering them! I think PS is losing players because of this which is a shame. I haven't played for 9 months don't really want to until i can share my skins.
When you connect to steam it says that? If some other account was connected previously you can't connect a different one. Id suggest filing a support ticket tho to see what account was linked or what the issue is
Kitten Of Doom Yes, I linked my Xbox to my steam and ended up losing everything. I don’t understand how that could’ve happened or how to reverse it at least, they haven’t responded to my ticket.
@@stceelos yea its dumb, if you unlink you lose everything. Did you file the ticket under account management? How long ago did you send it. Might take a couple weeks to get a reply sadly
@@KittenOfDoom BRUH. they dont want people to go off of their platform but I already did. I dont know why they wont allow it. Now I dont even play the game because of that. Its just not fun that I have to waste my time and get all of my progress back when I already have it.

Got a question! So my Xbox account is linked to my steam/PC one and I changed my gamertag on Xbox. Whenever I play on PC, the username is the only thing that does not change, everything else though like my gems, skins, like the whole account is linked but on PC it still shows my older gamertag as my username even though I changed it. Can I unlink my Xbox smite account and then relink it to try and fix it, or is that not possible and i'll lose my stuff?
Ya you have to have a different name on PC. PC names can't have spaces and it might be taken but once you load in after you link it has you make a new name. Can't have the same name unless it isn't taken
I'm trying to connect my Playstation account which has been my main account to my Xbox account that I have just set up and I haven't had anything transferred over. I don't want to have to buy all the skins and such again because it'd be such a waste of money!
I just linked my switch account to steam but it keeps saying my login information is incorrect for my switch account when I try to log into smite. When I get to the login screen, is my username supposed to be my switch smite account's in-game username and the password my hi-rez account password? I haven't tried using my hi-rez account password to log into my switch account on steam yet so I'm hoping this is the solution.
I have my Hi-Rez account linked to an xbox account but its appears to not be the right xbox account, I've sent in a ticket for this and still haven't heard back. I don't know what they'll be able to do about this, since I don't know what actual account is linked. I really hope they get back at some point and will help me fix this problem, I've spent so much money on smite for pc and want it to be merged to my xbox.
yea its tricky when its linked to a different one :/ they don't usually allow unlinking since people could abuse it and save skins from multiple accounts but if its an accident or you don't know what account it is, it sucks
My xbox account has over 2009 dollars in skins and was banned can this method be use to recover all my skins to a pc account ive never played on pc though
When i click on Link Xbox. It tell me " you can only relink with an unlinked account". I just made the account and i am trying to link it to different platforms, it worked fine when i linked my Nintendo account. Any help??
Would suggest submitting a support ticket, because that means that account is already linked somewhere else on a previous account I believe. Support can see what's going on
Doesn't have to be "new" just has to be a steam account you own that hasn't been previously linked to another xbox account ❤️ you can have played matches on the steam account as well, it'll combine your progress

What If I have an account on xbox and steam with both very little progress, what would happen if I would link those 2 accounts that have their own username and progress. Would one of them be erased or both kept because if both stay alive then whats the point so I assume 1 gets deleted right? How can I choose which one gets deleted, I want to delete my steam progress and just plop the xbox stuff ok steam, please help
No neither gets deleted, they just combine their XP and you keep both. You have to pick a new username for PC, but it'll combine your progress and skins
Playstation account is linked to my pc but all my skins are gone and even my gods i have bought. Does someone know what the problem is? On playstation i got all my gods and on pc i got nothing even my gems and favor is gone.
Does anyone know if it’s possible and if so, how to retrieve my game data from Xbox on my PS five? I was already told by somebody at Hi-Rez that it is not possible because Playstation doesn’t have an open contract with Hi-Rez to where they cross platform like that or something along those lines but I’m in shock and disbelief because I bought so much and dedicated so much timeon my Xbox just for it not to be able to be pulled on my Playstation. Somebody please help.
Smite 1 still doesn't have cross progression so linking your Playstation account won't grant you any content or progress, but Smite 2 will have full cross progression with Playstation. So you'll get legacy gems for all you've spent across all platforms when you link them all.
Yep! Then the first time you log into steam you'll have some options to go through to link I believe and you have to pick a name if you haven't already on PC
@@prestincook4916 So basically just type in the same exact name as your previous account (like Xbox or other systems) and make sure that your accounts are linked.
i have been trying to do this for months and ive sent away multiple support tickets and still i cant link accounts, when i try the to link xbox account it says "can only link to previous account" then when i try and link steam it says "please try again later" its really frying my head, i have so much shit on the xbox that i want on my PC and im not starting over. the replies ive got are just strsight copy and pastes from there support pages. HI rez support are useless
Ya the can only link to previous account means that hirez account has already been linked to an xbox account and you can't link to another one. It is frustrating for sure :/ their support hasn't been the best lately at all tbh
if you unlink your current xbox account from your hirez account you will lose all of your progress and skins, basically be set back to level one :/ it can only be connected to one xbox account so be careful and never unlink it

Hmm, I am assuming that Sony still has not made it available to transfer items yet huh? I would've liked to have all the champions on pc like I do on PS4.
@@isecretshadows2970 There isn't any possible way still to link PS4 or PlayStation accounts to get cross progression. If there is ever an official announcement from Hirez I can make another video, but Sony still isn't allowing it sadly
@@nathananderson8969 Did you find a fix for this? This seems to be an issue for a lot of people. I have personally tried plenty of tickets myself, but it seems like they just ended up ignoring me. It's really frustrating, that you can transfer PC progression to Xbox, but not the other way around if that's actually the case.
@@ttv_shadowzofdeathx6717 another thing might be it didn't connect right, not sure if unlinking and relinking your steam will do anything but I know if you unlink your xbox account you can lose stuff so :(
