@@ottobot1243Yes you can, you probably just have a clogged nose, just keep breathing through it and you'll break through. Thats how i cured it. And continuing to breath through your mouth is just overall bad for oral health, your mouth doesn't filter stuff like your nose does. Therefore your mouth is unhealthy to breath through.

Do it constantly. Won’t work if you’re over 25. It’s not a get results with work thing. It is your skull conforming to proper tongue posture. It’s just posture. Same as spine posture.

It's worked for me, and I've chewed gum whenever I'm gonna be carrying out longer conversations to increase jaw muscles. Great way to look a lot better, as not enough people realize how much your jaw line affects the way you present yourself.
The Dentist told me to mew few years ago,because of my jawline is going to eventually become very weird(idk how to describe it)so he told me to mew to push my Jaw front ,i mew a lot then now my Jaw,became a Giga Chad instead,WTH 😭

You are a Legend, sharing the mewing technique to your community is so helpful and you explained It very well in just 1 minute. I would add the fact that changing your facial structure will take a year or so but getting used to the tongue position Is gonna take just 3 weeks so go on, you got this King!
Its completely fine and actually better, since placing your tongue under your palate should be the natural tongue placement. It even brings the benefit of breathing better for many, as well as improving overall aesthetics. I know it may sound very disconcerting to change your jaws structure, but its for the better!
@@tijn9205 it can help exercising your jaw muscle. Just a pack of gum for an hour every day. It only really works when you have a prominent cheekbone which I do have on one side but not the other because I banged my face on a table edge when I was in 2nd grade
Had a speech therapist who told me to do so to always put my tongue like this, bc my tongue was too weak and it fucked up my teeth actually like their position. And also my physio therapist told me similar stuff. Like mentioned in the video and other techniques to strengthen your tongue as a treatment for my jaw pain and headache. For me there is enough evidence that this is smth you should do
Having been a total mouth breather in my teens, I realized a few years ago my facial structure-especially from the side-was similar to that GIF. I researched mewing and like you said it’s still pretty controversial. For me, it has worked. Did other factors like general exercise, being mindful of my posture, and breathing through my nose help my facial structure too? Maybe. Maybe it’s all in my head and my jaw has always been fine. But doing things like mewing and lifting helped me feel like I was at least taking control of my insecurities and I’m much, much happier now. Placebo or not it works

@@Diddysdisciple101 you have to keep your teeth and mouth closed too, for the most part. It kinda takes a while to get used to but once you do you'll be doing it without even being aware of it
Mofuccinyano Bro when we mew our tongue is just half inch behind our upper teeths, so the tongue automatically touches upper teeths because the tongue slides on front teeths..same thing happened to me, and I was scared that my upper teeths would come forward, so I stopped mewing..Bro will upper teeths come forward really?
