Migration to Google Analytics 4 can be difficult. But what if you want to migrate just a very basic setup? What is the bare minimum for Google Analytics 4?
In this video, I will show you the most basic setup and essential steps that you need to do. Complete them, and you will migrate in minutes.
This video will show various migration scenarios:
* if Universal Analytics is installed with analytics.js (old code)
* if Universal Analytics is installed with gtag.js (new code)
* if Universal Analytics is installed via Google Tag Manager
Also, at the end of this tutorial, I will show several necessary configurations you have to do once you migrate from GA3 to GA4

What a ShitShow by google!! Can't thank you enough for showing me how this is done (I never would have figured it out on my own). The entire saga is unnecessarily convoluted and over the top. It's like google looked at Siebel Systems and though, now there's a horrific system.. how can we bring this to our customers!! Again thanks mate, I'd shout you some beers for this effort.

We have multiple verticals on the same website; how do we monitor their performance? In UA, we had the option to set up multiple views, and we were able to monitor their performance, but not in GA4. Would you kindly help with this?

I tried Tag Assistant for two sites and it failed to connect, I followed instructions using Tag Manager method but both don't connect, just says "Could not connect to [website]" - is there something wrong my end?

I don't really understand what's going on but I got an email from Google saying I need to migrate my site(s) by July. I can't understand their "documentation" and I don't know what I'm supposed to do, so I'm trying to find a video to explain what it is (and how to do it, step by step) for non-engineers. Can someone recommend a good tutorial for non-programmers that won't take hours? I don't think I have anything customized in my UA analytics. Mostly I just hook up Google Analytics to my WordPress sites with an API. Also, what are the consequences if I just give up and do nothing? Thanks.

@@BlackStudiesyou lose all the data from UA the best you can do is export them you can't move the historical metrics from UA to GA4 that's why google sucks you can only add GA4 tracking to your website.
