Hi There. whe do i route my snare and toms verb , to drum buss or master ? is it good to compress and saturate the drum buss with reverb in it? or should i put the reverb somewhere else.

Great question! Generally, I setup a specific reverb FX channel such as "Snare Plate." Doesn't mean the snare is the only thing going to it, but I know where my "Plate" "Hall" "Chamber" etc.. reverbs are.. So I usually Send from the individual tracks to my FX tracks. The FX tracks output to my MIX or MAIN bus. This will depend on your prefernces.. I am usually wanting FX tracks to sound natural and life-like. So I don't want them getting all the distortion or plugins on them as they make their way to the mix bus. Case and point.. If you want your Reverbs, Delays, and FX tracks to maintain their unique qualities then you should output them as direct to your mixbus or mains bus as possible. If your FX tracks are highly stylized or "color-shaping" FX, then I would just bus them to your Drums Bus and treat the signals as one instrument. Hope that helps! Just my opinions!

I should leave the reverb/delay FX out of the Instruments busses. especigally for live instrument song mixing. could be interesting and exciting to feed the drum fx to drum buss for dance music or hip hop stuff like lofi tracks. 🤔 . but rarely right? hahaha

I purchased the Epic Drums download. I'm a baby boomer who is just getting started trying to record myself playing drums. Your download was not much help to me honestly because I lack basic audio engineering knowledge. I think you should let people know that they will need to understand basics before they spend $ for your download. When I did record it sounded like crap. I didn't see the mix tools you used in the beginning of your video to set sound levels. Where were they. I couldn't figure out how to get the mics to pick up my tapping them and hearing that in my headphones. Disappointed.
