Hi Lorraine, thanks for sharing! I need to go check out the rest of your videos, but the tip/trick I'd love to see a video on from a more experienced painter is this : How do you get precision / fine detail work done the best? I seem to be struggling with detail; the lines often turn out fuzzy, or bleed to make it look not as crisp as I see other watercolor artists manage to get it. I can't tell if I'm just working too small and I need to give myself more room, or if I'm leaving too much water on the paper, or painting too early and it needs to be bone dry, I'm just not sure what is important for getting crisp, good detail work in Watercolor. If you have any tips or tricks on getting detail especially in washes / layers of watercolor, that would be amazing advice.

Hi, I actually did a video in the Tip and Trick series that talks about how to get clean edges. Here is the link - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HKXmsFfuSUw.html. You don't say what paper you are using, but if you are using Student grade paper instead of professional or artist grade that could make a difference on getting crisp edges. I always wait until an area is bone dry before I paint next to it if I want a clean edge. Most of my paintings are done with layers and depending on what I my subject is, I want both hard and soft edges. I am not sure how to answer your question better than this. Maybe watch the video linked here and then let me know if there is still something you would like to see in a video. Thanks.

Hi Lorraine, Thanks for continuing to share your expertise! I like how you let us know the names of the colors you're using; most of the watercolor youtubes don't share the name of the color (eg colbalt blue, not just blue). I'm still perplexed about making nice greens, especially a nice forest green in case you're inclined to do a mixing greens tutorial. Thanks, Gina (from Northern Calif)

You are so welcome! I don't mind sharing my colors and I know it can be hard to know what to mix when it is all new. I will add greens to my list. Great idea!
