Hello, I'm in Hillside, NJ and I am a new comer to using Mica Powders. I thank you ever so much for being so selfless in your sharing. I am so thoroughly grateful. Sandra
Very nice thanks for sharing it save me money ordering different micas& I can mix the colors will be ordering the case with the containers stay Bless thanks for sharing
Hiii! You made my day and… night too 😃 Can’t find de micas you talked about, do you know some not bleeding ones that I can buy in Amazon? That would be of great help! I did today the pretty cookie mica hearths that you made, and I had lots of troubles with the ones I have, they didn’t “stay” while painting and they bled 🫤 Now I have the containers and the box but not the micas 🥹 thank you in advance 🙋♀️
Hi Carmen, how are you? I haven't used any micas from Amazon that I can vouch for, but I have heard others recommend Marblers Colorants. Also madmicas.com come highly recommended. With regards to the cookie cutter hearts soap, make sure that the cookie cutters have sliced through the surface of the soap (tap them in with a hammer if you have to) and are sitting a couple of millimetres below the surface. This will keep them in place and stop any mica from ending up where it shouldn't while you paint. It also creates those nice clean lines between the hearts (visible from the other side).
@@thedancingsoapdish Hi again! The second part was ok, the micas as they are not good ones swept away while putting them, I even bought the small hammer and that was ok! The micas are the ones that didn’t work… 🤷♀️ ThankU for your prompt reply and the recommendation, will look for this brand. Have a great day and really love and admire your work and the easy way you explain everything 🥰
