what amazing about your videos is you explain with so much calm and that helps us to really be inside the action , some people will go crazy on plugins thanks man
Can you make a video on what do do before mixing vocals? like set everything to right voulme and stuff. Noting on youtube about that. Everybody just say autotune, eq etc..
hey dude can i ask you about some good decent large diaphragm condenser mics or just condenser ones for recording alternative rock punk kinda music...........i only have a budget of 70$ Also thank you so much for the great tips and advice you give us you rock man 🌹
Can this also be done in the kirchhoff plugins? So useful this technique. Just came across the best video on vocal production by a producer named Nick Mavromatis and I realised how it’s not all about mixing. His production on vocals is just INSANE. You should the vocal production episode in particular.
@@user-qh5uy8xi5m so there are a few things it could be. If you know the key of your song is set correctly then also make sure you are selecting whether it is a major or minor scale. If you think you might have the wrong key set then you can figure out which notes are in the key of your song and manually select them at the bottom of the autotune plugin. I have a video titled “The BEST Autotune Settings for Vocals” that covers how to do this. It sounds like maybe the key of the song your putting in is slightly different than the actual key of the song and so autotune is taking your vocal to the wrong notes. Hope this helps.
If it’s not showing up in the audio settings page under devices then something is probably wrong with the install. You can download it again off of Image Line’s website I believe.
And can you give me good advice on how to do this trick. So when someone does a beat and a singer's sing, they're mixing the beat in a way that the vocals are In the beat (the beat is around the vocals), , not just a beat and than the vocals on it. How can I get this professional effect on an already created beat, I want to blind my vocals into the beat in such a way that it looks like this beat is made because of my vocals and my vocals are really in the beat (the beat sound around my vocals). Thank youu
There is a plugin called Trackspacer. I put it on the beat and sidechain the lead vocal to it. Every time the vocal plays, trackspacer will dip the exact frequencies of your vocal from the beat. It creates a pocket for the vocal. A little goes along way.
Why do you use your plugins on Mono version? I heard I have always to put my plugins on the stereo version (For example you have Sibilance Mono vs Sibilance Stereo or EQ Mono vs EQ Stereo) ps. I use already made beat, so I have 1 spoor for an already made beat and then my vocals, adlips, hermones etc under it. Thank youu
With the new FL studio update.. I assign and track in the playlist to a mixer track and then drag my vocals onto that track.. it kinda resembles Pro Tools now
@@mixwithjerry does it mean the original raw track were still safe and won't get messed up right ??.. do i need to send the original track to a new channel for mixing (pre reverb) if i use the old version ?.. for the simple explanation... this is my path (1 original raw vocal, 'send' to a new channel for mixing , and then 'send' the already mixed vocal to another channel for overal reverb) am i doing i right ?.
@@daybreaker7 yeah that’s the way I think is the best.. having a mixer track with your raw recording and then it is sent to mixer track with all your processing and effects.. then that one has a send to the reverb
