when I started recording my vocals in January my mixing was bad. Came across your channel around that time as well and just binged all your "Sound Like" videos. Now my mixing has greatly improved. Thanks man.

Freestyling on Type Beats and then mixing them live would be good to watch because that's literally what I'm doing right now and watching your videos help me learn how to mix better. Using Logic w/ no plug-ins is important niche content. Please keep making content like that.

@@CrapRapRecords he didnt know what he was doing with the EQ. And most Importantly, he mixed while soloing the vocals, without the context of the mix, so what he was doing was effectively pointless
@@alistairhomewood7344 Yeah it's funny because he does repeatedly say that he doesn't know why a certain thing is a certain way... and im just like "Dude! Just look it up before posting a video". It's not like this is the big fancy advanced tutorial, but come onnnnn at least know what the fucking Q is. Also subtractive EQ by sweeping is misleading and archaic as fuck. You're right too, that mix sounded like shit because he didn't EQ it with the mix, just solo'd. Eh, good video for straight beginners, a bit cringey for anyone with a couple years of experience though.
