How to monetize reused content on RU-vid in 2024.
This video is a full guide on how to get monetized after being demonetized for reused content.

RU-vid flagged me for "reused content", but there is absolutely NO reused content. Channel is 100% original, though AI generated or AI assisted. I've spent hundreds of hours on this content and have no idea why. :\ I put up one video on TikTok that I posted first to RU-vid (my own content). SO frustrating! Not sure what video they are evening flagging. Makes no sense. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello man! Can I monetize a greenscreen short video content I did directly from RU-vid? It got about 27 million views. My face appeared in the greenscreen video but I didn't say anything. It's just like a reaction. Is it possible that I will be able to monetize it? It's a greeenscreen video I made from someone's short video directly on RU-vid from the feature that was provided by RU-vid. I also post videos of myself on my channel. Deleted 10 videos totaling about 40+ million views, recorded videos with my face, added original commentary to my old videos, filmed my own videos... still demonetized. Should I sue RU-vid or do you have another idea? I am ready to share revenue to anyone who can get me monetized again

Hey, I’ve seen your situation many times, unfortunately your niche is a very difficult one to navigate. In a nutshell, if RU-vid can’t look at your channel and definitely identify 1 main creator/person in your videos, they will reject you. This is because there are 1000s of channels like yours on RU-vid, 99% of which aren’t creating original content. For this reason, RU-vid simply doesn’t have enough time or resources to verify every channel thoroughly - if they can’t look at your channel and prove it’s your content at a first glance, they’ll just reject you. The only thing I can suggest is vlogging, adding some commentary and showing your face alongside your footage - this is the only way RU-vid will 100% approve your channel. Hope this helps!

After 3 months, I'm finally about to reach the due 3,000 hours in order to activate monetization. I uploaded about 20 videos, in which I talk about animes - so not an original content - but I spoke in all of them + edited clips by framing all of them, as well. Not revealing my countenance, but still voicing over them. However, since I used to own another channel, which didn't get to monetize because of my mistakes, I'm kinda fearing yt might deny my request again. Paranoid question, but will I be fine with trasformed unoriginal content with voiceover? Just thinking about getting rejected again scares me a lot.

The pictures are fine... BUT.... if you don't speak on your videos, it is considered reused content and you'll never get monetized.

He says to delete all your videos, but when I went to look at the instructions, I did delete all my videos that had other people stuff in it. And then it said, do not delete all your questionable videos. But it’s too late already deleted them all and then sent my video and begging for them to reinstate my RU-vid channel.so you think I was right to delete all my videos that had the used content?

Hi Michelle, this video doesn't apply to "appeals". This is specifically for people wanting to re-apply for monetization after their 90-day suspension has ended. Here's the exact steps I share in this video: 1 - Read RU-vid's reused content rules ("Do" & "Don't" list) 2 - Delete all reused content (shown in "Don't" list) 3 - Adjust your videos to comply with reused content rules (shown in "Do" list) 4 - Re-apply for monetization when your suspensions ends Hope this helps!

@AmusingMichele Unfortunately once your videos are deleted, your appeal is automatically null and void and can’t be overturned. No matter what happens from here on out, you will have to wait for 90 days before you can re-apply for monetization. There’s no way around it now 🥲 Just to clarify, I never mentioned the word appeal in my video. My instructions are specifically for those re-applying after the 90 day suspension, as explained in my video.

Hello brother, because there isn't 1 creator/face shown as the main owner of this channel, I suspect this is why you was demonetized for reused content. To get monetized, I advise you to show your face in your videos. If RU-vid staff can see you, they will approve your channel. Hope this helps 🤝

But what about edits. Like for example some motivational clips from famous people, put together into an edit. You cant show your face or do any comentary since if you did it would ruin the edit and noone would watch it. For example boltmotivation has a chanel like this with shorts, that get milions of views. I wanted to try and upload these kinds of shorts, but i dont know if content like his gets monetized.

Hey bro, it looks like 90% of your content is owned by LukeDidThat, so personally I think you'll get rejected (in my opinion). To get monetized, I'd advise you to speak in your videos, give your opinion, add some value, in addition to the content you're using. Have you been monetized before, or will this be you're first time applying?

Hello brother, because 1 creator/face can't be clearly identified as the main owner of your channel, I suspect this is why you was demonetized for reused content. To get monetized, I advise you to show your face in all of your videos at the intro, possibly during the video, and also in the outro. If RU-vid staff can clearly identify you as the channel owner, they will approve your channel for monetization. Hope this helps 🤝
